I would have loved to give this place a 4.5 stars as the food was absolutely delicious and the servings, especially for entree tandoori, were generous, and prices reasonable. However, on the night we went the service was shocking. In fairness to the one waitress who basically had to do everything, the restaurant manager really should have more wait staff. The poor lady was trying to seat people, take orders, make drinks, pick up food and deliver to the tables, get food for Uber and pick ups, and take payment. In addition to this, the place is advertised as a bar and restaurant, and has an extremely well stocked bar. But- we couldn’t get a drinks menu until the other table had finished with it and none of the spirits or the whiskeys etc were listed. She did say it was being updated but then again it was not a new bar set up according to her, so not sure why it hadn’t been done a while ago. The place is really conducive to being a place to hang out with a drink but we saw some people get up and leave after sitting in the bar area with no one seeing to them for about half an hour. If you have no staff then forget take sways and Uber and concentrate on the people already seated in the restaurant. Despite this I’d give it another try just for the food. I booked a table for 8 people lastnight, the others are our good friends that we invited out for dinner. They arrived there before us and on time only to be insulted by the woman that i booked with. She was absurdly rude and was yelling at OUR GUESTS and didnt even speak properly to all of us when we arrived she just kept murmuring while walking to the back. How could she sound re-assuring on the phone and cant be half as nice in person?
