I’ve had good KFC and Napiers is sad, everyone else’s reviews on here mostly say the same thing and they are right. I should have known better seeing an empty drive thru on a Saturday night, can’t be a good sign, but thought maybe we would get some fresh chicken considering we were practically the only customers there. It looks like some of the high reviews are possibly from staff to hopefully try and make the ratings be more appealing but you can’t ignore all the 1 star reviews. This drumstick I pulled out had no bottom just straight bone and the rest of it wasn’t even in the box, random spoons thrown in too? Not sure what that’s about? No good a spoon if it’s covered in grease anyway might as well use my hands! and check out that grease! Batter ratio was barely a ratio, make sure you check your bags before you leave, we received two potato’s and gravies instead of two chips with our wicked feast. The server said that i can't place an order at their window. I then told the server the speaker/microphone isn't working as i tried to get their attention multiple times before getting frustrated and then moving forward to the second window which was the only one occupied by a cashier. I was glad to see multiple people behind me follow me out without ordering as they were feed up as well. Read moreI had a disappointing experience at the KFC in Napier South. One of the items from my order was missing, so I had to drive all the way back to the store to get it. When I returned, staff asked for proof—which, fortunately, I had taken a photo of. While they did eventually provide the missing item, I asked if they could include a couple of extra chicken nuggets as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience. The manager flatly refused, saying “this is not how we usually do things.” What stood out the most was the complete lack of an apology.
