A new restaurant opened in August, small, 20 seats or so, open kitchen. Reservations needed. Food and flavour combinations were inventive and meticulous. Plating was immaculate and elegant. Service during visit was charming and simpatico. Everything was perfectly executed. Michelin-starred cuisine, without pretension. Off the beaten track, and definitely worth the visit. They definitely are on the right track if they can improve their reservation system. The experience of dining at Le Plonc starts the moment when we engage. There are tons of booking systems out there. Someone please enlighten them to find a better one. We didn’t receive confirmation or cancellation for our reservation until we arrived there. Our table was booked by another party at the same time. We waited 40 minutes for another table to become available. Their amazing food deserves better admin support. Visited on...

There are no words that can express the experience of tasting dishes that at times make you want to weep! Combinations of flavours , the levels of joy that your taste buds experience with some incredible combinations of sweet , sour, salty umami, spices, in one sweet mouthful. I have to say with every empty plate the desire to pick up the plate and lock it clean was very tempting! Definitely some dishes stood out, the chevre marshmallow was a complete surprise and every mouthful was a taste bomb. The kingfish was exquisite perfection, and the salmon sorrel , both dishes you could weep with delight over. You have to do the full degustation or you will simply miss some of the best dishes. Even the smallest of details were appreciated, a small rack to put your handbag on, only 6 tables and service done efficiently and quietly. The best restaurant by far...

Honestly one of the most wonderful dining experiences we’ve had, it is apparent the couple running the restaurant Hunter and Ko have the most sincere passion for what they do. The fine dining set menu style and price might be potentially intimidating, but if you have the privilege to afford it, I cannot recommend Le plônc enough! The food was a fantastic play on incredible flavours, textures, presentation and subverted our expectations multiple times throughout the night. It was a joy to try comprehend the techniques and flavours hidden within the dishes. To top it off, the chef specifically crafted a vegetarian set menu just for my partner! We are very grateful for the experience and hope to one...

Exquisite. Scrumptious. Gorgeous. Amazing. There just aren't enough superlative adjectives to use to describe the tastes and the service here. Just wow. Chef asked us how we heard about them, as they do no advertising and don't have an online presence. I honestly don't remember, as I have been using the Cuisine ratings to choose our fine dining as we have traveled throughout the country over the last 6 weeks. He told us that this is a retirement passion project for him. We are overjoyed that we found him and loved what turned out to be a private dinner on a slow Wednesday night. Truly one of the best meals of our life, including Singapore, Buenos Aires, Lima, Madrid and all over the US.
