For the past two years, every single Friday night has meant one thing for us: Sal’s Pizza and Guitar Hero. And every single time, Sal’s has delivered — in every sense of the word.

We keep coming back not just because it’s a ritual, but because the pizza is consistently amazing. From the classic pies to the parmesan sprinkles, pinwheels, and a rotating cast of delicious dipping sauces — it’s our perfect end-of-week treat.

The staff are always friendly, helpful, and welcoming — and we’ve had some really lovely moments that made us feel appreciated as regulars. It’s those little touches that turn a good experience into a great one.

The manager was amazing! We had rung the restaurant the day before to go over with the manager that my daughters are coeliac and any cross-contamination issues we had. He suggested a time to come in when it's less busy and if we booked a table, he would clean the oven and utensils before we arrived. When we got there, the person serving us suggested we not eat there, and because she didn't know what was arranged, it was the right thing to say! We explained the situation, and they got the manager, who served and made the pizza personally. Oh yes, and the pizza was supper yummy! When we'd finished, we needed a takeaway box, so he got a box from storage that hadn't been near the kitchen. Brilliant! But ring before going if you have dietary...

Food was fine but the service while leaving was gross. I had asked for a takeaway box as I was on my lunch break and unsure if I had the time to sit in for the whole meal. Well I finished eating fast enough that I left and took the box to the bin, where the employee walked up to me annoyed at the bin and said to me in a rude tone, "next time if you are eating in tell me so I don't waste a box", grabbed the box from me and turned away.

Very unprofessional service to someone to experience. Making someone feel guilty for a standard option of takeaway.
