Read moreDisappointing experience for three reasons.
Firstly order over the phone was really hard as they wre struggling to understand what the order was and so had to repeat multiple times. In the end the order was still wrong with extra things that we didn't want and missing some things we did want. We ended up being charged for extra cheese (that we didnt want) and the burger came out with NO cheese! Secondly was told about 15-20min where in fact it took over 30mins. Lastly once we actually got the food it wasn't that great at all. The burger had old bread, was bland and used chicken nugget like things. Kumara chips were overcooked and some were quite burnt.
Overall for a $36 meal it was a let down. Seems like maybe staffing problems or they are just too busy and can't maintain the quality fish and chips they seem to...
Read moreI grew up in this area, there has been a fish and chips shop in this location for at least 30 years. So figured I would try this one out to bring back fond memories of school lunches from here. I was not disappointed, a wet, cold winter night, the little shop was packed with locals grabbing their meals and going. My father enjoyed his grilled fish, now he usually catches and cooks his own, so this says a lot. The fish was cooked perfectly. The fries were also cooked to perfection hot and non greasy. My burger and battered sausage also were spot on. I would recommend Two Little Fish to anyone looking for a good feed of...
