Yaza! Cafe Bar & Venue — Restaurant in Nelson

This was a very powerful Cafe. My Coffee was most excellent, it was made by a handsome young chap, with dashing long hair and beautiful brown eyes. The service was amazing, although i found the girl serving with red hair and purple eye brows ridiculous and confusing for my powerful brain.I do not have a scone preference and I am allergic to pancakes. The munchkin with pink hair was lovely and I tried to court her on a date, only to find she was an out and proud lesbian, celebrating the fact that gay marriage had been legalized that day. I did however notice the manager figure, which i assumed as she directed the staff with a pleasant tyranny, was giving me "the eye", this could of been to do my hot bod, cracking humor, old age and last but not least my luscious silver hair. I would gladly return to this cafe had I not heard they were raising the price of scones to five whole dollaro's!!!!! Sandy is crack up. I wonder who could be the chef who served me a small but delicious meal, in quick as quick timing. I thought perhaps there was human flesh in my food....

Amazing cheese scones! You have to be quick though as there were 6 scones left when I lined up and all had gone by the time I reached the counter!

We ate in for breakfast once which was okay but couldn't get past the sticky, dirty tables. We moved tables twice and finally found an acceptable one on the third attempt. I only stop in for a takeaway cheese scone now!

The biggest let down for me though, is the customer service of one of the ladies here. I don't expect much in terms of customer service but eye contact, a smile, greeting, or really any kind of acknowledgement should be the bare minimum. The homemade cheese scone was amazing, with the right amount of cheese and cayenne pepper 😋The super helpful young lady, Phonex is an asset to this place. She is helpful, friendly and kind. I was disappointed that Phonex had been told to charge me $4.40 for steaming my milk ~ I have allergies to lactose and soy, therefore drink lactose free milk steamed with 100% valaronia cocoa powder. I even supply my own sprinkle and keep cup. Most reasonable cafés charge for a fluffy, as I am eating there. I would rate the service and kindness of Phonex 5 but the bosses attitude...
