Burger King Johnsonville — Restaurant in North Island

I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO LEAVE ZERO STARS, BUT CAN'T POST WITHOUT ONE!! THE WORST EXPERIENCE. Have tried to leave FBack on Messenger several times, no response. Visited BK J'ville Sunday April 2, for dinner. Wanted to order a Burgeritto which the staff person didn't understand, she asked another staff member who said "beef", I didn't want beef, changed my order. After more than 30 minutes we asked how long - answer - no idea. By now most of the customers (most arrived after us) were standing around wondering what the delay was. I noticed quite a few cars leaving the drive through with their orders while we just waited. After MORE THAN 40 minutes we got a refund and went to Macca's, 10 minutes to get burgers, they had at least 12 staff. BK appeared to have only 3 staff who were really struggling to keep up. There were several Uber eats drivers waiting, one had two of 3 bags had been waiting an hour, but had to wait for the third bag, no doubt the customers food will have been COLD on arrival This is appalling, unfair to the customers & the staff; if you cant get enough staff, DON'T OPEN!!! I came throw the drive-through tonight between 8:50 and 9:15 p.m. 17/7 I Ordered a decent amount of food which was  Served cold;  Fries and burgers etc Originally we had discovered our fries were cold so  We went back through the drive-through;  Both times was served by red headed girl

She took the fries and before we could check the burgers she was gone! When she came back we told her about the burgers being cold and she gave me and my partner  in the car some Major  Attitude; took the burgers told us to park around the side and then slammed the window shut;  Brought the burgers back within a couple of minutes

I thought they were made fresh! They where warm and rubbery like they were put through the microwave?

I regret spending money at Johnsonville Burger King for the bad quality of food which were served cold then warm and rubbery

when I could have gone to a perfectly good restaurant across the road at 1841 spending the same...

Went here for dinner the other day! Firstly, I was impressed with how clean and tidy the reasturant was for a fast food restaurant that definitely exceeded my expectations. The food also came out very fast and efficiently, which is really good if you are in a hurry. However, the food itself was very average, with the flavors being very plain. The food was also luke warm and could have been cooked a bit long. The fries were soggy and were clearly not cooked recently. The sundae was not frozen enough, which is a problem i often find with a burger king with the ice cream being either too frozen or not frozen enough. Personally, I believe McDonald's in Johnsonville is a better option over Burger King as the food is a much higher quality, which is reflected with McDonald's being much busier in Johnsonville.
