Burger King Turangi — Restaurant in North Island

Worst customer service EVER!! I noticed that what I had ordered was different when it came up on the screen so when I approached the window I asked and said the combo I ordered doesn't come with this, but it is showing this on the screen. The lady was rude and said this is what you ordered and it does come with them and she was very dismissive of me as a customer saying this is not what I ordered. I left it so I could check my phone again and check the combo that I ordered to make sure that I was correct and I was, so when we received our order I didn't get the correct order as I presumed and I tried to tell the lady. So I went into the store and waited there for the lady to finally approach me after standing there for a bit and she just kept looking at me. She approached me and was so rude with how she was talking to me and I showed her what I ordered on my phone and said I didn't receive this. She goes to rudely say well we don't do that at this store, and I said well that's fine but that is what I ordered as it was on your bk website. She said you said this and that is what I ordered, and continued to say I actually ordered this but didn't receive it. She was so rude and didn't care about anything I was saying, there was no sorry, except I got rude, dismissive and worst customer service ever. She was going to just walk away and not offer any resolution so I had to ask for a refund as I didn't want what had been given to me, she practically threw my money at me, still no sorry and she just walked away, she didn't even offer for me to order something different. So I walked out in tears and I will NEVER...

We went into Burger King as a family for a quick tea and ordered 3x bk chicken combo meals with frozen coke and 1xsprite as well as 2x 8 pack Korean chicken. We spent over 60 bucks. The place was a shambles, not one clean table, and the floor covered in junk. Anyway, out of notice the frozen coke machine wasn't working, so we tried to tell the people that went would just have normal coke zero. We had to repeat ourselves 3 or 4 times till they got the message. When we finally got our cups we went to use the drink machine and the nozzle was stuffed, not working. When tried to pump ice in cups there was none, so we tried to put coke in with no ice and some fizzy flat aerated water came out 🧐 we tried many times and the nozzle would spit drink everywhere. There had been spills before that, but hadn't been cleaned, just 2 paper towels laid on it. When we finally managed to get coke out of the machine, it tasted like it had been in there uncovered for a month and a half. We ended up deciding to not get any drink at all. Got no discount. Korean chicken was soggy and almost not cooked. Burgers only had a few bits of lettuce, and hardly any mayo. They looked like they had been thrown together by a 2 yr old. Last weekend, Sunday in fact we were travelling from Auckland back home to Wellington; whether the Desert Rd was going to be open was dodgy, in fact at the stage that we arrived at the Restaurant, the road was not open. We ordered our food, I wanted something a little extraordinary, the top of the range Angus Burger. Then Brent entered our lives, as it turned out, here was a young local guy, we assume, who cared about his job, and equally cared about his customers. My burger was going to take a little 5 or 6 minutes extra, it took a little more than that, upon enquiry, Brent apologised, and the virtually gave us a minute by minute progress report. The when the food arrives there were extra fries aboard, and Brent insisted that we should have a complimentary dessert. His care was extraordinary, and unexpected, my wife and I thank and congratulate this young man, and please if there is any such reward as employee of the month Brent is certainly deserving of it. Being someone who is involved in the service industry, congratulations to Brent and congratulations to Burger King Turangi, who performed via this young man magnificently under a day of extreme pressure....
