Turangi Fish And Chips Chicken, Roast And Pizza — Restaurant in North Island

Placed a order of Cheese Burger, a All Up Burger and Garlic Chips that was about 6:10 pm. They told us we must wait 20 minutes which was fine, at 7:10 pm we asked what happened to our order and nobody knew where it was, after a while they found our order number laying on the table and had not been made, they told us they will make it for us but still had to wait, I was so upset and asked for a refund and left. Your advertising on the radio is false advertising and the service was very poor, I wonder what the travelers have to say as I reside in Turangi and will never go back there or tell people to go to your shop. Oh and by the way I had to give a star so I could manage to post this..You do not deserve...

Very disappointing!

This place looked great so we thought we would be safe ordering from there, we opened our dinner packet to find 2 cremated hot dogs, they had obviously split open during the cooking process, 2 pieces of so called fresh fish, they were tiny, tasted old and one piece was so brown it was inedible, the potato fritter was overcooked and the large chip portion was pathetic, however the trax chips were cooked well. I was so unimpressed that I went back, I was refunded for our expensive fish and chips but I feel food like that should not have been served, the hot dogs and fish were...

I got an egg burger & a battered sausage.

At $12, I felt the burger was a bit expensive... A better price would have been $8-$10. That said, eggs are expensive at the mo, there currently being an egg shortage. Plus the cost of living is through the roof so the price wasn't completely over the top.

The battered sausage was large & well priced.

Overall, I was happy with my meal and would happily repeat it.
