So this place is interesting on a Wednesday. No cocktails because none of the staff present know how to do one. That’s ok, at least they were honest about that.

But the food was bad despite what the other reviews say: Salt and Pepper squid and accompanying sauce right out of the deep freezer. Yucky consistency and much too much of it too.

Since that was the appetiser I thought maybe the main is going to be better, but the Sriracha chicken burger was just a deep fried tasteless mess. No lettuce or bacon or anything exciting to add to it either. The fries were just… off, weird taste and consistency despite looking the part.

Unfortunately the manager Meri at rust cut off her nose to spite her face when she so immaturely and unproffesionally turned away a group of at least 10 people because of her personal issues with myself she had from our old work place. She made quite the scene infront of the other staff and customers. So sad we were so enjoying to have a good time there as it was a friends going away party. Unfortunately the group so rudely spoken to likely won’t be reccommending Rust to their future customers. So sad the acts of one person who can’t maintain a level of professionalism in the workplace by seperating work and personal life has made so many people not want to return or reccomend even though Im sure the food and rest of the atmosphere would be amazing, Im yet to...

Visited this evening for a meal based on recommendation. I had a Venison burger and chips and a beer. The lady behind the bar was cheerful and welcoming and the food arrived 20 minutes after order. I was mindful of recent reviews about waiting times and was a little apprehensive about going. The food arrived in good time and tasted beautifully. The reason for 4 stars was that my venison was cold but this could of been due to the way vennie is cooked or even because I ate my chips first.
