Time For Food Cafe — Restaurant in Waikato

We called into Cadillac for a family brunch with our 2 year old. We ordered bacon and eggs, omlette, fruit toast and some coffees.

Upon entering we weren't warmly greeted, but our server was friendly once engaged. Like other reviewers, I was shocked to be refused a small menu item swap (grilled tomato for hash brown). Instant dock of one star for me.

Our fruit toast was served already smothered in butter. It was for our 2 year old and that's not what we wanted. It's usually always served with stuff on the side, like it suggests on the menu. We have never been served any kind of bread with butter already on it. Dissapointing.

My cheese and ham omlette was very tasty, but a touch small for the price. I also found a bit of egg shell in it, so had to dock another star.

The coffee is decent but nothing to rave about.

The venue is appropriately decorated in 60s paraphernalia. I loved the effort and appreciate the time it would have taken. I loved the board games on offer and found it quite a fun place to dine.

This was a gem place to find. Apologise some of my photos are little older but honestly 10/10 every time we've stopped in here at this gorgeous cafe. I was instantly obsessed when I saw the beautiful big pink Cadillac and from then on it was a must every time we are visiting or passing through Turangi.

I'm in love with their fluffy pancakes with that gorgeous blueberry compote and there delicious smoothies. Hot fries freshly done. Just mouth watering.

The decor is an aesthetic of its own it gives that vintage vibe so well I just love it that perfect pink counter. I just wanted to live here 🥰.

We went here for breakfast but ordered lunch menu items 😅 Food is really good but the open steak burger had fat in it. The steak burger on the other hand didn’t have lots of fats in it so that was great 👍

I got the seafood chowder which was really good especially the bread that came with it, it was super buttery and perfectly toasted. The portion wasn’t as big as I expected though. My oldest daughter tried it and she doesn’t like seafood chowder in general that much but she loved this one. Good job!👍
