Haven't been here for a long time but it is still just as amazingly good as i remember if not better! Delicious light golden crispy batter on fresh fish. Battered muscles that are not just one but two together! Thick potato fritters that melt in your mouth. And just the right combo of soft and crunchy golden chips with crispy bits to fight over. Oh and the donuts 🍩 yommmmmy! And last of all the happy owners who always greet you with big smiles and a hello. My pics not pretty sitting up Monument Hill eating in the car but was just too good not to share! 🤪

We got here by chance, and did not regret it ! The owner is so nice, and the food so good ! We had difficulty understanding how the menu works, but we let him advise us. What a good resolution: -) It was nice to talk about Vietnam and other things. We may never come here again (to far from Canada :'( ), but we will definitly recommend this place to any other people who might visit Thames.

Never again central takeaways thames. Bought 6 battered mussels not one of those things had a mussel in them. Got home and to my surprise these things had like a pattie in them disappointing. Threw them straight in my bin, Don't even deserve a star. Wouldn't even feed them too the ducks lols. Cost 6.00 dollars each oml.

Best Fish & Chips place in Thames to date! The service is guaranteed quick & welcoming with friendly attitude & smiles every single time. The food is quality whether the fish is fresh or frozen fresh (frozen fresh fish is cheapest fish & IMO still really tasty) and the batter is that golden crispy you’re looking for in quality battered fish. The chips are cooked to golden perfection & perfectly salted, not heavily at all. The food is cooked with love & a passion for cooked seafood everyone loves. I have no complaints about this Fish & Chips shop WHATSOEVER. Me & my family always go here when we want quality fish & chips, Central Seafoods Thames are a MUST eat & try if you’re either visiting, passing from out of town or even a local townie who hasn’t given them a chance yet for whatever reason (unless you’re allergic to seafood then don’t try i guess lol but they have great sausages! in hotdog,...

Came here yesterday with a friend to get hot chips on our way to the beach. The man who served us was lovely, and our wait time for food was 10-15 minutes, but unfortunately the food wasn’t too great. Our potato fritters were thick-cut and still slightly raw in the centre and left an unpleasant taste on the tongue, the hotdogs could have cooked a little longer, and within hours both my friend and myself were feeling unwell...
