I risked it all and lost by ordering the loaded kebab wrap that had lamb+chicken+pork+falafel and all those salad veggies in the window at once.... The thing came out bigger than my head and I knew I was in trouble when my friends have the 🤨🧐🤨 looks. But my hubris took the best of me and I ate the whole thing in one sitting and then proceeded to take a three hour nap in the car. The best kebab restaurant and takeout ever! The original Turkish delicious kebab is full of flavor and rich in healthy ingredients. The food is so hygienic, the place is very clean, and the restaurant is nicely decorated. The staff are so friendly, and the prices are affordable. This cozy restaurant has left the best impression on me! With the hospitable hosts, delicious homemade dishes, beautiful presentation, and the wonderful baklava dessert, I highly recommend it to everyone. I would love to come back here...

This is the best thing about Thames - crunchy kebab bread, fresh salads, tasty chicken - all with a combo including masterfully made chips, (decent) sauces, and a good selection of drinks. I have searched New Zealand far and wide for a competitor to Christchurch’s Souvlaki-licious and thus far this is the only establishment which can hold a light.
