Their smorgasbord hot food is average. But their fast food, both hot and cold (sushi) is popular because of taste, pricing and location (at the Lambton end of Wellington). The premise itself is simple and adequate so long as you don't expect anything posh!
Their baos (Chinese steamed buns) are a steady seller throughout the day and that's no surprise as these are good but on the pricey side. They are one of the few shops which offer vegetarian buns, along with the sweet and roast pork options. As for their skewered dim sims these are hearty snacks especially when doused with their delightful chilli.
