Great vegetarian food for a good price! Some dishes lacking a bit in flavour i.e one of the curries needed more spices and the halva needed to be sweeter but overall was a tasty quick meal without breaking the bank.
They no longer allow you to order food from the menu - you need to use the buffet and fill a container of your choosing (small ones around $10 all the way up to large for around $20). I was a bit confused because there were signs that told you how many different types of curries etc you can have for what size you want but the man at the register didn't really seem to care and was happy for us to scoop however much we wanted in that would fit.

The interior is small, very simple and no frills. The dishes for plating were not all clean- found one with a greasy bottom and another with bits of cumin still stuck to it.Two guys man the kitchen and register between them. I ordered two medium vegetarian serves, two chais, two side entrees and one dessert. The curries were phenomenal - really love the palak paneer. However, was disappointed that we got overcharged with 5 extra side dishes and 1 extra chai when I got home and checked the receipt ... Great food, reasonable prices, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lots of vegan options. My favorite dishes are the masala dosa, veggie manchurian, and the vegetable biryani. The pakoras are also delicious, but get them in the morning when they're fresh and crispy. The samosa chaat is also a winner (ask for it vegan and they will make delicious adjustments). Both make an excellent breakfast. Speaking of which, they will be open earlier with breakfast specials soon. Looking forward to it! Chai is not on the menu but if you ask, they will make it and it is divinely spicy! Definitely one of my favorite places to eat...
