Hi panda Roast & dumplings — Restaurant in North Island

Ever pulled up to a Roast place with mad feelings of Grandmas or Mamas home roast only to be generally disappointed because the cost doesn’t justify the meal and the taste is a total let down…..well this place Not!! not only does it provides a decent meal for the regular price, it’s both tasty and generous we got pork roast and some steamed dumplings and we also had takeaway pork crackling which was on special 2 for $5 but it was actual crackling not the deep fried skin that we have had to settle for, this crackling had the yummy fat layer which makes it crackling to be enjoyed. Didn't feel a hamburger or sloppy subway and drow past this place Decided to have a look and the pork looked so good I couldn't resist to try some. I had the Small box. It was everything except small 😅 massive feed for $17, I wish I could buy the pork crackle seperate in bags because it is so darn smoking yummy. First time trying a roast place and this sat the standards high....

I have eaten here on many occasions when I visited my sick father at a local rest home. The food was excellent and good value, and I am salivating thinking about the hot roast pork filled rolls I use to get there. A good, clean prepared food outlet. Whenever I travel from Otaki - North, I will make sure I will stop...
