Indian Tadka Matamata — Restaurant in North Island

Just popped into Indian Tadka for dinner and omg what an amazing time!!! I got the Dahi Puri as a starter, I had never tried it before but the waiter explained what it was and decided to risk it and will definitely be ordering this dish again!! It looks simple but the explosion of flavours is to die for and good value for your money!!! For my mains I got the Malai Kofta with a garlic naan. This has become my new favorite dish it’s delicious sooo flavourful and really filling! Also if you are not sure what to order ask the amazing friendly crew and they give you options and if you aren’t sure what something is take the time and care to explain and make sure you know what you ordered and cater to your needs!! I have not tried the other Indian restaurants in Matamata but if you want the best I highly recommend Indian Tadka for a date night or family...

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian Tadka and it was an absolute delight. We were greeted with warm hospitality and excellent service.

This evening we went this place and ordered 3 different curries and all gravy and taste are same. Even we told them make kadhai chicken more spicy with no cream, but they made it like butter chicken. When we called they are not accepting their mistake. I will not visit that place again.

When we called them, they said we can’t do much for you, just bring your curry back, but till that time we already served to some guest and they said all curries has same taste, so How can I bring it back which is already some served and even we request your staff member during order to make food according to our expectations.
