Jugnus Little India — Restaurant in North Island

First: the food was great, good portions, great flavour... But:

My friend found two small bits of metal in his food. We told the waitress, her response was: ok. She told the manager who came over and offered to replace the order with a new one but no apology, a very casual  'ah, yeah, those are little magnets'...

My friend went to the toilet and while washing his hands saw an employee in a chef's uniform come out of the cubicle and going back to the kitchen without washing his hands. We talked to the manager about it, again no fault was admitted, but that because my friend was using the sink at the time, the employee couldn't wash his hands and did so in the kitchen.

We were a group of seven and decided to split the bill evenly among us. After everyone had paid their share, the manager realised he'd accidentally divided the sum by eight instead, so everyone had to come to the counter again to pay the remainder.

In summary, we enjoyed our food, but the lack of care, professionalism and accepting fault when something goes wrong makes me stop coming or recommending this place...

Possibly the worst indian fast food in Kapiti.

Negatives: Price was high for the amount you receive. The Naan bread was quite possibly a few hours old as it was drier than the Sahara desert. We asked for mild and it was not mild. The man who served my partner was not friendly at all. Not much chicken at all. Rice undercooked

Positives: Chicken was tender It was over very quickly.

$19.00 for a small butter chicken and $9.00 for 2 garlic naan breads is extortionate. Sorry Jugnu but you will not last long on the Kapiti Coast.

typically you as an owner would strive to resolve 1 star reviews. You have done the opposite. You can't handle receiving poor reviews and respond appropriately with a negative experience. I will most definitely be taking my business elsewhere and tell everyone I know not to visit your premises. You're totally right! All my reviews are 1 star. Great spotting. You've joined them!...

The food Quantity is very less. Not worth for money. The food tastes good though. The pic is a $15 Samoosa chat. Already given stars to your review lessons. Kindly check. Also mentioned in comments. I hardly found 2 small pieces of Samoosa in your sample chat. Before reviewing I have already gone through your reviews and seen disappointing way of your actions on 1 stars. So I know there is no point of giving you a review. Still gave one because I was really disappointed and sad in my order which I waited for 20 minutes spending $15. So not recommending to anyone going there to fill their tummy. Taste is not so bad so if you are just after taste go for it. Yup honesty is the best policy. Not scamming people. Sorry mate I’m not gonna waste my hard earned money in your restaurant anymore. Hope other people too. And FYI I haven’t said anything bad about your hospitality. But please try to change your attitude towards 1 star reviews as if you are...
