Fedup Restaurant and Takeaway — Restaurant in Wellington

About the worst service I’ve ever had in my whole life ordering through this business.

We’ve used fed up every Friday for the past 4 years, and have had nothing but delicious and tasty food as well as good service.

Today I ordered again through a delivery app this time. When the food arrived it was freezing cold, and honestly not even edible. I called the uber driver who collected the food and explained how the food was cold, he said to me the store had made the food before the specified time resulting in it sitting for a while.

I then called the store and requested that the order either be re made or some form of voucher to make up for this. The store worker then started to tell me “I don’t believe you, your lying to me it’s not cold” and then said “listen to me it’s not our fault it’s yours”

I will never shop with them again, and have made it abundantly clear to anyone I know not to shop with...

Unfortunately my 3rd time getting fish and chips from here has been a bad experience. I ordered 1 battered fish, 1 pan seared fish, 1 scoop of chips, 1 scoop of wedges and 2 sausages. Everything was very stale except for the sausages. I ordered online and headed over straight away to pick up (10 mins away from my house). The other times where I ordered ahead, it was fine and the food was very fresh. This time the food was hot, but stale. Suggesting I was served reheated/refried food. It was also peak time, the restaurant was packed, and the waiting area was also full of people waiting for their take away orders. Not sure how they stuffed this up so badly. Probably because it was an online order and they might have felt it to be less of a loss if they serve old food and I don't show up to collect. My family & I love Fedup at Paraparaumu Beach! Beautiful, succulent fish every time we order our takeaway dinner! Clearly the crew at Fedup change their oil regularly & keep that oil nice & hot which helps in their food being so tasty! And no after-fat taste lingering in your mouth or that awful sitting in your gut feeling! Nice & friendly bunch of guys & girls running the show at Fedup. Dine in or takeaway, up to you.. either way, you still get to experience great food at a great price. I especially warmed to one of the front desk girls on my very first visit to Fedup! It was an absolute pleasure being in her company even if it was just to order our takeaway dinner! Lol! Great...
