Loved it. Kazu has the best sushi in Wellington. It's fun watching all the seafood go around and around on the moving tray in the centre of the restaurant. Just pick out what looks the most yum, which can be difficult, because it all looks delicious. The smoked kingfisher is excellent, and they make some lovely fried dumplings. And I can't say no to spring rolls. Nice range of non alcoholic ciders too. Friendly customer service and a chill atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Keep coming back here! The sushi train is so tempting and delicious. Great solution for delicious, quick lunch with no hustle. It is strategically located in Cuba st. The place is not so big but can decently accomodate 20ish people. You can get a variety of sushi here, with salmon, beef, chicken, tuna, and vegetarian choices as well. It has Udon, ramen and miso soup. They also provide tempura, tiramisu, cream puff and various Japanese cider. They also have kids’ menu.

How awesome was this dining experience. To say we sampled would be an understatement. We loved every bit of it. 21 plates we tried between us and it was delicious. It’s not a fine dining experience but this sushi 🍣 train 🚂 was definitely an amazing experience. Great service. Delicious food. Clean restaurant. Car parks close by and a cool kids menu. Give this one a go for sure 🙌

Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at a kazu sushi restaurant, and I am pleased to share my experience.

Ambiance and Setting: The atmosphere was welcoming and the setting was well-designed, creating a pleasant dining environment. The interior was both modern and comfortable, contributing to an enjoyable experience from the moment we walked in.

Food Quality: The quality of the sushi was excellent. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The variety of sushi available ensured that there was something to suit everyone's tastes, from traditional rolls to more adventurous options.

Pricing Structure: The restaurant uses a color-coded plate system to determine pricing, which is a common practice in sushi train establishments. While this system is convenient and allows for easy sampling of different items, it does require diners to be mindful of the accumulating cost, as it can be easy to lose track while enjoying the meal.

Overall Experience: Everything about the dining experience was positive. The food was delicious, the ambiance was delightful, and the service was efficient. For those who are mindful of the pricing structure, this sushi train restaurant offers a fantastic and enjoyable dining experience.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this sushi train restaurant for its excellent food and pleasant atmosphere. It is a great place for both casual meals and special occasions, provided diners keep an eye on their plates to manage...

Absolutely love this place!!! A great selection of fresh raw seafood, as well as cooked foods. My favourites... salmon roe, Kingfish, whole baby squid, scallops...all raw of course. My friend ordered the beef ramen noodles, very tasty she said. Next time I will try their matcha pudding drink, it looks interesting. The food is all served on little coloured plates...on a conveyor belt, known as a sushi train. We spent $130. for 2 very hungry adults. Quality Japanese food is never cheap...it was all worth it. Did I tell you, that I absolutely love this place!!! 😍

Still love this place, had all of my favourites. My friend ordered the chicken teriyaki Udon noodles this time and said it was very enjoyable. I was quite full when another yummy dish of fried lotus chips came out... unfortunately just too full, will have that next time. 😍

It's been a while since I last came here. Had all my usual favourites, see first review. A new item I tried today was the alcohol free cider, I had mango... omgosh so refreshing, and...

I have been coming here for 13+ years. It has changed names an presumably ownership more times than I can count. Which bugs me. My recent visit was a huge disappointment. The food is very limited in scope now. And the quality has declined a lot. The price has been remarkably stable though. Despite the place being festooned with "hiring now" signs there was a distinct lack of staff. Just one person avaliable to serve me and tend to the food making. They were doing their best. There were no bowls at my seat. No water was served. No top up of my beer was offered. I arrived hungry. I left hungry. It will sadly be my last visit. Surely there must be something better. If you have been here before but not in the last year I think you will be disappointed. If you have not been here for 3 or more years you...
