I went to Jam to get multiple colours in my hair of purple, green and pink. I had my consultation with Victoria and was impressed with her knowledge and her excitement to achieve what I wanted. Victoria took great care of my hair, doing a test to see how it would bleach and when it came out well, we booked in. We did two bleaches and I was ecstatic when Victoria said she thought we would be able to get to the pink colour. I thought my pre-dyed ends and natural brown hair might not be able to get light enough. The process took 5 hours but I was treated so well from start to finish. This was my first time at Jam and Victoria was just amazing. The finished look was even better than I had imagined and I just love it so much! It has now been two weeks and I have washed my hair in cold water twice as per Victoria's instructions. It is still as bright as it was when I left the salon and I get so many compliments! Will be back when my roots start coming through for sure.

I have literally been to hell and back with my hair for almost a year now, to the point of almost giving up. I rolled the dice one more time and tried out Jam Hair. I'm so relieved and emotionally on cloud 9. I booked with Ben Bampton through recommendation and he took care of all my hair woes. I told him my backstory and what I wanted from my hair, and he delivered. I was almost in tears seeing the outcome from blonde to pink. Not only was it exactly what I wanted, but he treated me kindly and ensured it was done to the best of his abilities. It was a stellar feeling, and I will definitely be going back and forever from now on! Feeling the hair blues? Try Jam hair before giving up!

recently got my hair colored, and I’m so much happier with the results! The color came out exactly as I had hoped vibrant, rich, and with the perfect tone. The stylist really took the time to understand what I wanted, and they chose a shade that complements my complexion beautifully.

Absolutely horrendous customer service from the Owner Louise, i would NOT recommend this salon at all. I purchased hair extensions from Jam, 8 weeks later I called to book in to have them removed, re-taped and reapplied. Louise answered and i asked for a price. She had no idea what she was talking about, she did not know pricing for anything and had no idea what was involved with the process of hair extensions so she said she would need to find out and call me back. In the lead up to my appointment, she called me twice off her mobile. In short, we had a disagreement over pricing to which we debated, however, I believed this disagreement was settled in the first phone call. I called the day before my appt to confirm the time, Louise answered and confirmed the time which was fine. Half an hr later i get a call from her mobile asking if i know what the process is for extensions and that i this and i need that, which i knew I didnt, she then started to belittle me basically implying that im stupid, i could tell she just wanted to argue with me. She ended up hanging up on me because she had another call coming through, so professional. The next day i decided to cancel my appt as i found a very professional company to do them for me which was slightly more expensive but great customer service. I txt Louise to advise her I was cancelling because her service was appalling, her response was "Im pleased, as to tell you the truth I did not want your business, You were the appalling one, take a look at yourself" to which I advised i will ensure to post about this on all social media sites to which she responded "Dont threaten me, youve had your say ive had mine, we are done, i wont be changing anything we do at Jam, you got the best service, not our fault your abnormal" !!!! What kind of business is this lady running, she is obviously not all there in the head!!! Please dont go here!!! A hairdressing experience is something we look forward to, the only thing you can look forward to from here is a completely irrational, narcissistic owner who treats people with...

Came in for a mullet refresh and left with an unevenly layered bob. Brought in reference photos of my previous haircut and was given a completely different style that was cut unevenly. Stylist was late to my 45min haircut that was $90 and ended up charging me $120 for 1 hour cut despite the fact I was fully paid and out it the shop before the hour was up. So was charged $30 to wait on the stylist, collect my belongings and pay. I did email the shop with my issues to resolve this privately, however the stylist did not acknowledge the issues I had with the cut and insisted it took her a full hour to cut my hair despite also acknowledging that she was late and I was in the building for less than an hour. I received no remedy to the situation other than to go back to the same stylist to fix my hair. Considering the lack of acknowledgment of wrong doing and the fact that my hair is too short to be fixed, I decided to decline. I attached screenshots providing timestamps and proof of unevenly cut hair and the fact I was overcharged however these went overlooked. After a long back and forth Louise said she would refund the $30 which really should've been the entire amount, but she never did I have to cut my losses but hopefully the next person doesn't have to. I ended up getting my hair fixed at another salon and we laughed at the appalling job done here at Jam Horrible haircut and even worse customer service. Wish I could give 0...

Today I finally found my life's purpose. To be a client of Bryce at Jam. I find haircuts stressful. Sitting in front of a mirror for hours with the added pressure of making small talk is my idea of hell. Every hair dresser I have encountered from when I was taken by my mum, to the trainee hair dressers as a student, to the first expensive cut when I first got a "real" job have been lovely, friendly, and considerate. But I still found it stressful. What do I want done? Please for the love of god, for the wellbeing of us both, I should be in the backseat for the decision making. Or the boot if possible. My first expensive dye job my stylist sat me in front of a book and I picked every colour that was exactly the same as my actual hair colour for 300 dollars. I am the Nicola Willis of fiscal responsibility when it comes to decisions about my appearance.

Bryce took me by the hair, and gave me direction. I didn't even have a chance to look in the mirror with self loathing because he was so funny and engaging. He snipped away with skill and confidence. One of my first thoughts when I got home was that I would probably trust his judgement on whether or not to turn off life support should I ever be in a coma...
