I don’t often write business reviews, but every now and then a small business needs a tap on the shoulder with a friendly smile to let them know they’re doing a good job. It’s unfortunate we live in a world where the only communication of a business is negative. People a very quick to complain, and really give people great feedback.

I was wanting to get some more work done, my daughter introduced me to Cuba Street Tattoo in the middle of last year, like many, people that know me, know I go off referrals. I had seen the work my daughter has had done from Cuba Street and wanted some for myself. I’ve had two peices done from Zeir now with more booked. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences from Z, and the Cuba St crew. Z alway greats me with a big hug and a warm smile, he knows me by name and the staff know me as M**’s Mum and greet me so. I know not everyone are huggers, but I am and I like that kind of greeting. What I love about Z the most, is he listens to what I want and brings my thoughts and ideas to life, and helps me see what we can add or take away to make it even more beautiful than I imagined. Cuba St Tattoo are quite simply, rad. I’ve been getting tattooed by many artists all over New Zealand for over 30 years and Cuba St is one of my favourite studios to visit. They managed to create the perfect atmosphere mix of professional and chill. They’re all an incredibly talented, kind, respectful, and friendly bunch, not to mention funny. I always have the best fun and have always left on a high note with some awesome tattoos. I’ve had 2 by Zeir, his calming vibe and friendly nature keeps me going back for more of his super cool and unique style of work, I get mad anxiety and his chill and friendly nature is a godsend for me. Grant is such a good guy, and his talent and vast experience in the tattoo industry is what made me choose him to tattoo my face. Trust me, I wouldn’t let just anyone do that! My beautiful trad butterfly gets many compliments. Sometime's tattoo studios can be a bit intimidating, but Cuba St Tattoo has always made me feel welcome. Their professionalism and dedication to giving everyone an exceptional experience no matter how big or small their request is, is something they should be proud of, and I have a wish list of pieces I’ll be returning for. I have been seeing Brendan at Cuba tattoos for my tattoos for the last 4 years and I am very happy with the work he has done. I have requested some very difficult designs and he has never failed to deliver.Most of my tattoos are fine lines and alot of curves and he has done it to perfection.He has also offered free touch ups on areas that might need work once healed. He has talked me out of stupid tattoos as well (the addiction of wanting a tattoo can drive you mad).I would highly recommend as he is very professional , patient and passionate. I have been very fussy about some of my art and he has always taken the time to redraw to make sure I was happy with what the final result was going to be and I appreciate the time he has taken to ink me even though I can be fidgety and hard to deal with.He...
