Nora Kebab — Restaurant in North Island

14/5/22 The three wayfarers of Waiohine had traveled far and wide since their last venture to Nora. They had seen the centre of the earth and discovered the modern worlds long lost Speculoos. Now, they knew exactly what they needed. The mist was hanging, their feet were smelling, but there it lay; that old familiar haunt, a beacon of light glowing in the sparkling rain of Upper Hut. The carnage, the cold, the uncountable callouses - they knew it was worth it, for the taste of that sweet felafel was like sunshine (with dustings of déjà vu). Some say the three wayfarers of Waiohine are still wayfaring to this day - jaunting, jesting, and spreading the word of Nora Kebab. (Once again, 5 stars)

Great kebab. I'm a bit of a carnivore and at first I thought there wasn't enough meat but to be honest I'm happy to say they got the mix right and the overall flavors were really good. Maybe the guys were a bit stressed tonight because the only thing that stopped it being perfect was the team was a little bit gloomy. That said, its a kebab shop, not a fine dining restaurant. The service was fast and efficient and I loved the fact it was wrapped in paper instead of foil. Kinda felt like the whole thing was fresher and less soggy than other places. My partner and I arrived here just after they had closed. The staff was so friendly and allowed us in to order a kebab. They were kind and polite. While we waited for the kebab, I took an interest in their powdered treats. As my partner and I were leaving, extremely greatful for the kebab they made post closing, the staff kindly gave us a treat to take home on the house. We will definitely be coming back here.
