Taj Spice Indian Restaurant & Takeaway — Restaurant in North Island

Today the 7th November 2021. I went with my friends to dine in this restaurant around after 4.30 pm. We ate food one the menu Chilli chicken comes only with NO rice. How are u suppose to eat a meal with no rice no naan. We had to order naan. So this curry comes only Chilli chicken costing us $22. We asked for rice they gave us. (Wen asked on requested) 2ndly we orded 2 half meals. N naan. 3rd I ordered my meal fish curry n rice n naan. I orded my achar. We paid for meal but on top of that we paid separately i for dining In. I never have in New Zealand paid for fining in. U can put prices up but why why would you charge customers for dining In. Anyone else in NZ charge for dining In. I don't think I'm going back again. We wanted butter chicken for dinner but Bollywoods was closed so came here. It was horrible in comparison, butter chicken was spicy and bitter. I'm not a big fan of Indian food but my partner got me into butter chicken (chicken is my go to food), the sweetness of Bollywoods is to die for its that good. This is why I don't like changing restaurants as its hard to say if the food with the same name will be similar. Not even my partner liked it and he doesn't mind spicier foods. We've been getting food from here for 5 years now, and it has always been fantastic. We've never once had a let down. It's a family run place, with no frills driving the prices up, just good, tasty food. Large portions (we get 2 curries, which does dinner and then lunch for my husband the next day), and great naan.
