The experience was average right from the get go. One of the entrees we offered was Dim Sum. We expected some light snack, but alas, it's so dense that I wondered whether it's cooked through! There were four pieces per serving, I managed a second one because I hate wasting food, however my partner couldn't eat the second one. I don't blame her. I said to my partner that we should have ordered the spring rolls, at least it'd be safe. Then, I overheard an older couple next to us had to send their spring rolls back because "it was still cold in the middle"! The pork belly main I ordered was average, not to bad but nothing to write home about, definitely far from "extraordinary" I had expected. The green curry my partner ordered though was so thin that it's more like a broth soup then a curry dish. The dish was bland and flavourless. It was "extraordinarily different" as the restaurant claimed, just in a very bad way. There were no more than 4 tables during our dining there, yet we're not checked upon throughout the whole meal. When I was paying the bill, I was asked how everything was, and I gave the girl a very brief version of the comments above. I was met with complete silence. Either she's not genuine with the question or simply didn't know how to respond. Maybe most people would have just answered "Fine" or something along that line while vowing to never come back again.

To be fair, although the prices were slightly on the high side, they're still reasonable, until you put the food and service against I them - then it's definitely overpriced. How much over? I wouldn't go back there again, even if they had paid me. Really! I know they would never do that, but I'm trying to...

Booked a table for 25 people for a birthday dinner. Arrived on time although was waiting for a couple of members to follow. we were not greeted at the table. our group was told on the phone that when booking was made that we would be charged per bottle of wine. This was a different story when we were seated and tried charging per glass. We were not given any wine glasses so our group had to use the water glasses on the table. The waitress was extremely rude and accused us of breaking rules and threatened to fine us 50$ per person she catches drinking wine out of the water glasses. Our table then was being watched like Hawkes with 3 waitresses standing over us whilst we were deciding what to order. I was then confronted by one of these lady’s and she began yelling at me. The restaurant was empty and I stated if I am getting disrespected as a paying customer that would have been paying over 500$, I expect better customer service. our table decided to leave as we first was not welcomed, we were threatened then yelled at. I work in hospitality myself and I have never ever come across such rude hospitality ever in my life. Such a shame as I heard they had good food. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they are wanting their birthday ruined. Absolute rudeness and I hope the owner is aware of this. we were extremely happy with the place we decided to go afterwards with amazing staff...

First of all service is incredibly average. Good hospitality is important to make you fell welcome at a place. The food matched the service quality. I ordered the "Spicy Girl" and it was incredibly average. I was expecting a meal with fresh chilies and bright sparks of flavor. I got a bowl of disappointment and had to pay extra for rice. Imagine having to pay for addons just to make your meal complete. When I go to MacDonald's and order a big mac does it come out with no buns? No, they are an expected thing to be included in the meal. When I order a Thai meal I expect rice to accompany it. I'm not some paleo freak that faints at the site of carbs. I'm a regular human being. What is this economy coming to? Wouldn't be surprised if I start having to pay a subscription to breathe soon. When I pay 23 dollars for a taste of SEA I expect it to be better than something I can make at home. Presentation was poor too. Corrugated cut veges? I'm not at a fish and chips store cut it normally man. The meal had a decorative salad with a carrot flower. I think most restaurants stopped doing that gimmick in 2003. I've heard their curries are good so get those because the meal I got which was described as "sexy" on the menu turned out to be an ugly affair. If that meal was sexy then I'm the pope. 6/10 Felt like I was at a B-tech...

I’ll start with a positive …. My main meal was flavoursome and delicious. It kind of went down hill from there. I read a number of reviews before coming to this restaurant and many of them said ‘best Thai in Wellington’. I haven’t been to any others so I can’t dispute this but there must be some bad ones. My major problem was the service or lack thereof. Was sat down at a table. Halfway through reading the menu I was moved to a smaller table complete with my jug of water and no glass. Asked for a glass. No glass given. Glass taken from adjacent table. Main turned up - no rice. Wasn’t asked ‘would you like rice with your meal’. This should be standard. Appetizer were 4 items that I reckon I could get from Moore Wilson’s if I had the inclination to look. With half a plate of food left of my main, I was asked if I minded if they take that plate. If someone is clearly eating, and the plate has food on it, leave it on the table. In summary - instead of pay 10 people $10 per hour to serve food, try 5 people with experience at $20 per hour.

Great Thai restaurant, good for take aways, or dine in, delivery easy came to pick up several times while we were there too. Attentive staff, the spicy grade on the menu is not accurate according to the waiting staff, but they'll explain to you anyways just ask away. We had prawn cakes, tiger prawn tomyum as entree and herbal crispy whole fish with homemade sauce, thai chef fried rice as main. Prawn cakes were incredible and out of our expectation, the whole fish was great just as expected. A bit shame, tiger prawn was over cooked in the tomyum soup and fried rice was not dried enough, otherwise would have been 5 stars. Medium to high price, huge portion. High chair available and staff super friendly with kids is definitely a plus, inside the restaurant was slightly warm in hot summer nights.

Great time with a large group. There were a lot of us (double digits) but the space didn't seem too over crowded. The food did come out quite far apart from first served to last, some of the latter wondering if their order had been completely forgotten as everyone had mostly finished before theirs came out. But it was all well enjoyed, and good proportions. We didnt feel rushed to leave and were left to enjoy the food and friends. Some of the dishes being the shape of your main was a cute choice too.
