Tokyo sushi Taupo — Restaurant in North Island

I’m a regular, I come here all the time it’s one of my favourite places but I experienced the other day some very poor customer service and won’t be coming back. I ordered a bento box and paid for extra meat, as I was leaving I went to put some soy sauce on my meal and was told I had to pay extra for the soy sauce. The sign clearly stated you had to pay extra for wasabi and ginger but nothing about soy sauce. I was then approached by the staff rudely and told I had to pay extra for soy sauce… I could not believe it. I am a regular customer who has spent a lot of money and all I was after was a small swizzle of sauce, hardly breaking the bank…. not good. You’ve lost a regular customer, I won’t...

Yeah that was trash. Dry rice and way too much of it! I managed to find a tiny amount of surimi (a cheap ingredient) somewhere deep amongst the rice. I don't understand if maybe it was just yesterdays sushi because it should be that dry at 11am. Maybe the style around here is to fill up on rice but I'll never bother going back...
