Uncle Lee's Takeaway — Restaurant in North Island

I love Uncle Lees. I swear its been the same owner since I was in my teens and if thats true then I've had great fish n chips off them for over 20years. Whilst the venue is simple and no frills the low prices and yummy food speaks for itself. Tonight we got : 4 fish 3 hot dogs 4 potato fritters 2 scoop of chips for $36. Being able to feed a whānau of 4 (including 2 teen boys) for under $40 is pretty impressive In my books.

Honey chicken was bland and soggy, really clumpy sauce and couldn't taste any honey or sweetness at all. The fried rice tasted burnt and didn't have much meat or veg added to it.
