Zhou’s kitchen — Restaurant in North Island

First time I’ve ever posted a bad review but I feel this one is deserved,

Called in an order and when I showed up half the order was sitting out with my number on it. A few minutes later I asked if that was my order and was told yes and it was quickly put under a heat light, said I would rather not have that if it’s going to be out for a while. I sat down to wait and then saw a girl grab something from under the heat lamp and give an order to someone else, then saw them putting the rest of my order on top of an existing one and it was presented to me. I asked if that was the food that had been out and was told with a big smile “oh no we swapped it out”. Left and ate a couple of stone cold chips. The first part of my order was out for at least 10 minutes and then they lied about it. Went back and advised I would be leaving a review, not cause of the food but...

On evening of 21 April 2021 bought 2 of the seafood snacks for $8.90 each based on the photo on the menu wall inside. Outside the shop we found that not all items in the photo were in the boxes. Went straight back in and pointed this out to the woman serving who said what was given to us was correct. Told her that the photo they had was misleading. Said the same thing to an older man who came out to the counter. He said it had been this way for the last 3 years and no-one had complained. We said it was false advertising. He said that he told people and we explained that we hadn't been told. He replied he was telling us now and offered us to take the meals or have our money back. We chose to take our money and said we would...

Just ordered a black bean w/ chicken and chicken satay... When I got the food, upon looking at it, it looked watery and as predicted... yeah it was! The sauce was so watery and the only thing I ate was three spoonfuls of rice. Wasted my money! Wish I could give 0 stars. This place doesn't have love for it's food. Dissatisfied and disappointed. Should be ashamed! Don't come here at all! Love from, An honest person who knows what good food...
