This is a fantastic playground, nestled within the botanic Gardens. Not only is there great equipment for children of a range of ages (a number of slides, flying fox, monkey bars, swings and other climbing equipment), there is plenty of shade, tables, and bathrooms! It really ticks all the boxes.

Good size playground. A bit far to walk there and if coming from Cable Car, there is a moderate slope to get there although no stairs. Usual equipments including, twin slides, climbing, see saw, flying fox and swings. There is a toilet and some chairs but no shelter so bring sunscreen and water.

Awesome playground about half way up/down in the Wellington Botanical Gardens. Always seems to be very popular with the kids of all ages. Has slides, flying fox and the usual playground. Toilets nearby and seating areas dotted around. Has a fenced off area for younger ones.

It's a nice playground. One for big kids another for small kids. The one for the smaller kids is a bit limited but is safe. My two year old could see the big kids section which was far more interesting. So she wanted to go there. But that is really not safe for the young ones. Aside from this problem it is a very nice playground. Make sure you have water and sunhat if you are going on a sunny day because it gets a...

The highlight of a BG trip for little people, this is a playground that kids just love. See them zipping excitedly towards it well ahead of their devoted parents. And what's there not to love - long slides and more, the only snag is that the playground sits on the valley floor and so loses the sun quite early in the day especially in winter. So plan to visit earlier to give the kids more...
