Nice crunch on the golden and light on oil batter, the fillet was a bit tough to the bite despite the thinness. Didnt flake as I would have hoped, I’ll put that down the lack of all round girth. The chips were bang on butty goodness, slight hold to them in the outside and releasing that pillowy centre with every mouthful. Hotdog and fritters were a good addition with good batter and content. Overall not bad at all. Is there room for improvement? Yeah the is, but it’s a small fix that could move this chippy up a couple of notches. I’ll still say there’s good value for money here and worthy of a visit. The lady that served me was super friendly and chatty 👍🏽
