Warning

You’ve worked hard for your money, please don’t waste it on eating out at this restaurant. To kick off this chain reaction of a D grade dinning experience, the waitress told us they don’t do table service and then proceeded to say, “just order there, the bars only right there” in the most sarcastic manor. We continued to have issues with this waitress while trying to get any kind of service. This should have been enough of a red light for us to have gone elsewhere. But we wanted to give them a fair chance.

We then sat down for dinner, ordered the $39 ribeye steak, only to be served the thinnest, fattiest and most undercooked steak of my life. I mentioned to the waiter that it wasn’t even edible. I suggested maybe don’t charge for that particular steak, rather than cooking another as everyone else had eaten. He came out and instead offered a free dessert when I dine with them next to make up for it. Why on earth would I come back to this below average restaurant for a second serving of this dog food? I paid the bill just so we could get out of there.

Needless to say we won’t be back. Please don’t waste your money. McDonalds is only 1km up the road, they have much better food and customer service standards.

Came here for dinner with my partner and his two kids, he and his daughter got food poisoning from his meal the chicken burger (which she ate some of). Called the restaurant to speak with the manager the next day, the person who answered the phone claimed to be the manager until we started relaying our issue then she said she wasnt and he would call back us back. Never received a call back when I rang again and finally got to speak to the manager he just brushed it off that it wasnt food poisoning and said they had caught a bug, no issues in their restaurant or food handling procedures, no one else complained etc etc. Not going to do anything or even offer a refund. Theres no way it was a bug as father and daughter shared the same meal and both were vomiting within hours of getting home, son and myself had fish and chips and felt fine and were never sick at all. Having worked in the food industry myself for over 13 years I am well aware that its easy for mistakes to be made or things to be slightly under cooked or not rewarmed to safe temperatures, but the way you deal it with makes all the difference. The managment of this restaurant has some serious work to do in this department. We will never again be eating at or recommending this restaurant, zero...

After visiting the circus we came here as a change to our usually places to go. Decent sun spot and not bad beers but the food was awful. We got curly fries, garlic bread and a jacket potato. The best thing about curly fries are that unique kinda spicy orange crunchy flavouring right? No lie, these things came out soft, pale and flavourless. The garlic bread was one of those baguettes you buy from a store and cook at home, usually pretty good! Not what you want when eating out though, especially when it’s a thick nearly burnt crust you have to chomp through. Finally the jacket potato.. it came out on a bowl on top of a plate, the bowl red hot so it had just come out a microwave or an oven as the cheese was crusted on to it and the skin was tough to cut through. If they can’t do a good job on fries, jacket potatoes and a garlic bread I doubt I’m gonna...

Expensive food, small portions. Pork belly pie like a garage pie but dry with small mash and peas on massive plate $27ish. Chicken ceasar wrap with chips. Decent wrap with small chips $25.50 Salt and Pepper calamari...decent size but calamari was not crisp and a bit spongy. $20 ish Chicken BLT. Decent size but only had chicken in one side of the sandwich. Small handful of chips $25 ish. Pint $13. Service OK. So all in all average food. Either prices need to come down or fill the plates with a few more chips/peas/whatever as just feels like your getting ripped off. Calamari needs to be crisp and do something about the pie! When you're out with friends you don't want to make a big fuss of things if it's wrong and/or wait for a replacement when everyone has finished their tiny portion. Recompense welcome!

We decided to stop here for our first meal after our 20.5 hr trip from Houston, Texas. My wife and son got their classic burgers with curly fries and I had the Steak and Ale pie. Burgers were well seasoned with a nice searing, and the fries were hot and well salted. The steak and ale pie…. I could’ve eaten two more if my body allowed it. It was rich and delicious with an incredible gravy, and would highly recommend a nap afterwards. Appreciate the hospitality from the bartender/owner. Cheers y’all
