We stumbled into a magical place and went back for seconds on our small holiday. This place offers fantastic service with a hearty smile and care. The food is some of the most authentic food outside of India. If you miss India/ South Indian/ Indo Chinese fusion, this is the place to visit. Better than most Sydney Indian restaurants.
The ambience is calming, friendly but can seem cramped if you come from the Woolies entrance due to the kitchen views. With ample seating and options for kids, it's an easy recommendation for many. The chilli chicken, tandoori chicken, schezuan chicken noodles and schezuan chicken rice are all fantastic. The garlic naan was plentiful and the goat curry just-melt-in-your-mouth. The fried rice is fantastic if you don't want to be daring with spice. Ask mild for kids and they tone it down.
I truly found this place a joy to eat at and would highly recommend. Even ordering for a pickup and take home, things are packed beautifully and a lovely carry bag. Well thought out and very wonderful flavours. Access into the restaurant is on level with the footpath, so easy access for...
Read moreReview is specially for the branch manager MS. SUNITA PATEL, (Indian employer) working in New Zealand restaurent, running an Indian resturant on the name of Indian word itself, yet doesent know how to talk or give respect to own country.
We gave an ordere of butter naan and dal makhni and asked them for some pickle if they have as complimentary. She refused and said it is chargeable. That doesn't matter to us for whatever price be it. But what hurted me was just a line that she said over a conversation of pickle, "THAT IS WHY INDIA IS SO POOR". This was something one Indian could never expect of hearing from other Indian in foreign country.
Let me clear you one thing Ms. SUNITA PATEL, it is only because of we Indians that you are able to run your restaurent in a foreign country. Adding to it, today was the second and the last time i visited your restaurent. I dont even want to see your face any more, visiting your restaurent is far far away.
Personal suggestion to other customers, angerness apart, taste of food is not having the...
