We visited the pools while on holidays in Queenstown. My 17.5 year old son was charged entry as an adult at the front counter, then not allowed in the hot tubs because he “looks too short for his age and doesn’t have ID.” My three children followed a group of other kids to the large pool, where a group of kids were bombing, jumping and doing flips. My kids tried to join in but an adult with the other group said to a supervising staff member “those kids aren’t with us, so you can yell at them all you like.” The supervising staff member then verbally abused my children in front of onlookers and threatened to kick them out of the pool. Read moreExperienced climbers told we cannot climb here on a Sunday morning because we dont have lead licences for this specific climbing gym. Being as I have been to this gym before and lead climbed here a few times and never had this problem, Im not sure what the problem is... Also, no supervision of the climbing wall??? seems odd that not one person on staff to oversee this or provide an induction. Ah well thanks for limiting us on this wet day in Queenstown, I look forward to being here and having the new facility that is opening...
Read moreJust used the pool facilities which was really fun. The current pool was great and they have foam floaties available. And the pool is set up well for kids with two built in sqirt guns and a basketball hoop. Wish the hottub was a wee hotter, & that the pool slides didn't cost extra. The showers are the push button type so the water is repeatedly turring off after 30 seconds so you have to keep pushing the button. Also the water temperature was very inconsistent and blasted me with cold water...
