KFC — Restaurant in Papakura

UPDATE!

The manager at the Papakura KFC rang me and apologized, and offered us to collect the missing potato and gravy. Someone else also rang me from KFC and apologized again, and gave us a credit, which we used for our next KFC meal, and we got the replacement for the missing potato and gravy as well.

I feel better about them now, since they actually listened and did something about it, so I will change the stars to 4 stars now, as the food was actually very nice.

I'm so angry! Every holidays I shout KFC (Papakura) for my friends kids, and drive there, wait in the drivethrough queue, place my order, go to the window, pay, ask for a receipt, get told it will come from the next window, wait, pick up my order, drive all the way to my friends place, in peak holiday traffic, like tonight, get to my friends, and always, yes, always, something is missing from my order!

Tonight it was the 2nd of two large potato and gravys, and we only got one. So disappointing for the kids! I confirmed it at the window as well that it was for two. And no receipt in the bag either!!!!!!!!!

And I paid cash, so I can't even go back and show them my bank statement! And it's raining, so I'm just NOT going to drive back through all that traffic just to wait in the queue again, just get one large potato and gravy! But really disappointed because this isn't the first time, hence writing this review. Feel like crying. It ruins the...

Just a few mins ago i came back home from the Papakura KFC empty handed. I went to KFC stood in line waiting for my turn and after literal 5 mins when my turn came i was told that i cant order here with eftpos so i was told to order from the kiosk after i ordered my Hot and Spicy bucket i stayed waiting patiently for my order. People that arrived after me were getting there orders made and leaving while i stood there. 15 mins later one of the workers told us that we have to wait 15 more minutes as its a bit busy. So we remain waiting patiently. 20 minutes later of waiting another worker says our order will be ready in 15 mins so we wait and then another workers asks our order and tells us to wait 10 more mins as the spicy chicken is taking time to get made. After an hour of wait we ask them if the order is ready, and they say they need 6 more minutes to make the spicy chicken, when they literally gave spicy wings to someone who had arrived after us. Had an encounter recently where they tried to make it out it was my error in payment. Waited for the cashier to say Yeap go ahead. Lady at the next window said my payment declined (I did quickly check my bank and saw nothing but I checked the wrong acc) checked the right acc when we got home and saw the bucket charge then the extra chips charge. So it was just that THEY had forgot to charge me for extra chips 🙄

But apparently they’re breeding 3 legged, 5 winged, 4 backboned chickens (with the normal 2 thighs and breast).. That’s what we got in our bucket anyway. Chicken pieces are always inconsistent. One visit it’s a 5 legged, 4 breasted chicken. Another visit is a 4 legged, 5 winged chicken.
