Pizza Express — Restaurant in Puketāpapa

So I waited for the person in front of me to order. They stepped to the side, I stepped forward. The servers eyes moved from the till to mine,( not that sort of moment.) I started to say I'll have a... please. The phone rang the eyes moved to the fone and I walked over the road as the fone order was taken. I did go back though I'm not that kind of person. Fell in love with the sweet chilli chicken, with added hot sause. One nite the comment was made, why don't you try another sort.I built myself up to asking for a steak pizza , sorry no steak, fancying steak I walked over the road. Foned the next time, no steak. Foned over the road. Asked for steak the next time, no steak walked over the road. Foned for steak, sorry we don't do that anymore.not being that sort of person Walked there to look at the menu, a friend that day had had the prawn,why not I thought. I'll have the 16$ prawn pizza please. That'll be 16$ dollars and it'll be about 15min. No worries thanks very much. 15min later all ready to try something different, aaa we are all out of prawns would you like your normal one the sweet chilli chicken .walked over the road. Thing that made me laugh most was the server who said try something else was the one who I just got the refund off. Walked over the road. I'll go back though, I'm not that kind of person and the pizza is good. Sometimes I think these people are working like slaves and really seem to be under staffed and under stocked so I can't really blame them and they make such a nice pizza and are so polite and helpful thanks for the delishish pizza hope that management steps...

TL;DR: Pizza poorly packed enough to leak, not once but TWICE. On top of which the pizza was somewhat cold at this point and absolutely flavourless, for a $15 pizza.

Usually this place has been decent in the past but it seems like owners may have changed recently, if not multiple times. I just wanted to get dinner on Father’s Day and was disappointed with the poor service I experienced. I ordered two pizzas which I picked up and one of the boxes was soggy from the bottom but I thought it would be manageable. Within about a 2 minute drive away, the pizza box leaked through onto my arm, leg and seat. I went back to see what could be done and the guy serving me just had a blank expression on his face. Him and his coworker seemed to have no idea what to do and I wanted to just leave, so I asked for the pizza to be put into another box. The pizza was thrown into another box and this time put into a paper bag to “sort out” the situation. As I was irritated at this point I quickly left with the poor excuse for a fix. I got home to give my Dad this pizza only to see this disappointing excuse of a pizza and box. If I ever return to this shop, I hope for some remuneration and some better service because this experience basically...

Very poor service, staff are illiterate and cannot read basic notes on Uber eats/doordash (for pick up). They also don’t remember if u call them and tell them to make sure they get the notes right! They never read my notes, I always have an issue with my order. I’ve spoken to the manager about it, the conversation was very respectful, he seemed very understanding, he offered a free snack-box and said he would speak to his staff. However, nothing has changed since. Today I encountered the same issue again (first time ordering again after that issue), despite their own negligence, the staff (one in particular) was extremely rude when I raised the issue for the millionth time. Apparently, none of them have the managers number either to contact him about any issues to offer any form of compensation.

Once I figure out that garlic sauce recipe, I won’t ever look at this...
