Did not have a good experience in this cafe. As soon as I entered, I felt a bad energy in there. I went to the till and first ask if there was wifi available. A guy (I think it was the owner) answered yes but in a very dry and not welcoming way. I proceed to by a cofffee to make use of the wifi because I needed to send couple of emails. Sat down and drank my coffee which I thought it was made with 0 love or passion put into it. Never mind the taste… Just plain and bland. I was quite disappointed at this point. Then I tried to connect wifi through a voucher they give you there to be able to access. It worked for literally a minute and then I said to the guy the voucher had run out of data . They gave me another voucher and then the same happened. At this point the guy was annoyed by my presence and treated me with aggression saying I had already used up 100 mb in a minute !! He throw at me the third voucher and of course wifi still didn’t work. I ended up leaving the place, after drinking a plain coffee, without finishing my tasks I was hoping to do by making use of the wifi and on top of that, with bad energy from the place and the owner .
Wouldn’t recommend this place and will never return to it. My advice to you reader is try to avoid this place and to the people that work there, do what you do with more love and passion. In the end, you spend probably all day in there and it’s not productive if you’re miserable and treat people in a bad way. And last but not least, be honest and say you DO NOT have wifi so people like me don’t waste their time. Will rate this place -1 stars if it...
Read moreWe spent two nights in fox and ended up having three of our meals here. If they had been open for dinner we would have eaten here both nights. Erna and her team are lovely and great at what they do. My husband and I work in aviation and spend our lives traveling so when I say that I had the best blueberry muffin in the world I really mean it. My husband really rated the Butter Chicken Pie so much so that he had two. Lunch was lovely, I had the BLT which was fresh and huge, hubby had 1kg of mussels. Fresh and tasty. We’ve been traveling around NZ for 3 weeks and my little girl is well and truly fed up of chicken nuggets and fish bites. She does however love spag bol which is on the menu. They were very happy to do a child’s portion for her and were enthusiastic about providing her a proper meal. Needless to say she devoured her meal. We wanted to stop for a full breakfast and to say goodbye the last morning but the little one was ill so I got a takeaway. They were kind enough to ask after her and send me away with a little care package for her and advise me the best place to get Pamol. Thank you for making us feel like friends not...

were in Fox glacier for doing heli hike in the month of January. There are only very few restaurants in this area. We had breakfast as well as lunch in Cafe Neve. Compared to other couple of restaurants in that area, we found this menu is vegetarian friendly. We had toast on omlette and mushroom omlette. The toast on omlette was good, but the mushroom omlette was full of half cooked tomatoes. We didn't like it much. We came back for lunch as we didn't get any good vegetarian options anywhere else and we ordered veg pizza. The pizza was full of extra cheese. I like cheese, but it was like 1 kilo of cheese on top of pizza!!! May be we could have told them not to put so much of cheese, if we knew they were going to put so much in the first place. Overall pizza taste was on average. But, if you are going there, better to tell them to put less cheese. The service was really good and staff were friendly. We also took some muffins take away. The blue berry and apple muffins were really tasty. It saved us from starving when we went for...
