India Gate Restaurant — Restaurant in South Island

Well, it was another special day in my life! Thought to have an Indian Tasty food. When I did Google search, found this restaurant. Visited yesterday during evening.

The restaurant seems more clean, and tidy. Atmosphere is cheerful! Background music was amazing, playing some Bollywood songs. When it comes to order, I ordered Samosa, and chai first.

Well, I never had this kind of samosa overseas. It's amazing. Totally, tasty. We can say, "paisa vasul". Chai is not that much amazing, I found more waterry.

Further, ordered dal makhani, and rice with naan.

Highly recommended. Prompt and friendly service. Food was delicious. Wife is strictly vegan which didn't raise an eyelid, and she was very pleased with her Daal Makhani; I tried it and agree it was very tasty. I asked for an off-menu Fish Jalfrezi which again was no problem, and also delicious. We each had a main and a roti, I had rice which is charged separately, and which I prefer.
