Although very busy, lovely service from the hardworking front staff, a lovely variety of lunch/brunch items available and quality expresso coffee. Highly recommended. Support local, support Kaitaia!

I ordered the Rama-Gee here. It's a local twist of poached eggs, hollandaise avocado and a few extra surprises thrown in. As an entitled middle class Englisman who live in Surrey eating poached eggs and avocado is almost a daily occurrence. So I believe im well placed to pass judgement. We had Bacon & eggs on ciabatta toast for an early lunch. This was ok as were the wedges. On the other hand the two flat whites were only luke warm, they were served in paper takeout cups despite the fact that we never said we wanted them to go. Delicous! The fluffiest pancakes and the compote was omg! Eggs bene on point with popping eggs and ciabatta you can chew. Kumara hash stack was perfect size and flavourful I added a side of Holly and I have no regrets. The coffee is delicous and hot. Love the coffee roaster in the Cafe. Cool to watch and see....
