Turkish Kebabs & Pizzas — Restaurant in Te Hiku Community

When it comes to their pizza's, there's a lot left wanting, the overly oily greasy results makes you wish you bought from pizza hut instead.

I seldom ever come here, primarily because I don't live in Kaitaia anymore, but their pizza quality needs to improve now that pizza hut has moved in.

Kaitaia isn't known for its citizens paying top dollar for great food and that's partly why most higher end restaurants close, and simpler cheaper fast foods thrive, I.e. Pizza Hut, Macdonalds, KFC, Subway, standard Fish & Chip shops and Town and Country.

That said Turkish Kebabs are usually cheap and delicious, and maybe pizzas here was made to grab extra attention, but definitely didn't give me the outcome I was hoping for.

My review is a couple months or so later since my last visit, so maybe they've improved this aspect of their business, and I do intend to return in...

I wish I had taken pics of the food! This place is not only great value for money but has excellent food! The size of a meal is easily enough to satisfy two people and quality is on point.

Fresh salad always, plenty of sauce on the meat and if you pay for extra meat, you really get it!

I'd recommend the mixed salad with extra meat or the mixed pita (medium took me 2 meals to finish!).

The venue has a very clean bathroom and owners clearly take pride in running a tidy business. Well...

Stopped in for dinner and did not disappoint. Had the lamb and feta and chicken and avo pizzas with chips. All up paid about $60 including a drink. Asked the guy when ordering if we could add the sauces to pizza and as you can see, he loaded them up and was happy as to do so.

Have to try it out if you’re after a good pizza. Watched them prep some kebabs too and they looked really good as well. Chips were well seasoned and...
