Honestly not sure why people come here. Have they changed hands? We had two poached eggs on toast which were hard-boiled. They gave us one extra new set of eggs and grudgingly brought a second (as both were ruined). Eggs tasted of vinegar. We've been sitting here for an hour with dirty plates, only 3 other groups and 2x servers standing around, but no-one has taken our plates so our table is a mess. Really expensive too - $30 for eggs benny. Plastic plants and furniture. No atmosphere. No toilets. 1000% not worth it. Coffee was quite good, which was the one highlight. Lemon tart looked good but tasted quite freezer burned.

One of the best cafe we have being. Environment, beside the boats was the best. We will come back, for sure

POOR SERVICE. Unfortunately, I must change my earlier review which I will keep posted below. I came in today expecting the same stellar service I had previously experienced only to be severely disappointed. The ventilation problem inside has not been resolved and I was misfortunate enough to be served by a waitress who had no intention of being helpful. I waited for 10 minutes before I was given any water and after I signalled to her that I was ready she then directed a younger staff member to take my order. Clearly, her concern for her cigarettes was more important as after a 20-minute wait during which time I was brought the wrong coffee twice she returned to take my order smelling heavily of Tobacco.

My wife and I came here for lunch and were not disappointed. Great spot, with good food and excellent staff. Only downfall was that there isn't enough outside seating and inside got a bit smokey. We...

Went in because looked nice from outside. But we were wrong. Me and my wife didn't feel welcomed at all. The staff were rude and not welcoming, will give this place a miss.

Sat down for a coffee and for some food. The waiter was very rushing asking us what we want. Decided to grab a cup of coffee in takeaway cups because it was a nice day and wouldn't mind walking around the waterfront with a coffee. But was told that they don't do coffee in take away cups and the owner was a green party (Didn't even ask for that). I was gobsmacked because the cups are compostable and organic, and what is the big deal if they are organic and compostable.

The waiter took the order but they got the order wrong and size of the coffee wrong. I didn't want to ruin my morning so I paid for the coffee and just went on with my walk.

I would not be taking my family...

The coffee is as bad as their attitude. I was absolutely shocked at how rude I was spoken too.

A pity that its the only cafe whilst waiting for my family doing the bridge bungy. Won't ever go back after being treated with such disrespect.

Edit: I am glad you know (with minimal detail) who I was. Your perception and my perception is very different. I don't mind the shouting my name so loud as much as I minded the lady behind the machine interjecting herself whilst eating a scone. I had to ask the lovely guy serving me if I was hearing correctly. He told me to not worry about it. That in itself speaks volumes. As a first time experience it was not nice at all. I was very polite and just wanted something for my little one. I understand business. I understand how tough things are. That's no excuse to talk down to people...
