Westhaven Marina Management — Attraction in Waitematā

Quite a cute spot to drive to. Lovely views of sky tower. The spot is right under the harbour bridge and is quite windy. When the harbour is lit up it is very beautiful and they sometimes do light shows which is great fun for the kids. Take out ice cream and coffees there and just enjoy the views and water and the wind. There is a nice walk around there too near the marina which is beautiful day and night. Perfect Marina-view for a great location. I wanted to experiment a 'Dawn of the Twilight' Photography for Westhaven Marina. So I went there about 6AM. Sun is about to rise. Auckland city skyline is about to dim down their lights. I superimposed the blue 'nebula gas cloud' image that I took from Google Images. Great view of the harbour with calm waters from this vantage point. There's a few walkers, cyclists and runners around at that time of the morning. The Bouy cafe just around the corner is just opening at that time too and gets busy as the morning progresses, indeed a popular cafe.
