Auckland Adventure Jet is a jet boat experience on the Waitematā Harbour in Auckland. It’s a high-speed, adrenaline-pumping ride combining thrills (spins, fishtails, tricks) with nice views of landmark scenery. 
The ride uses a twin V8 engine jet boat capable of speeds in excess of 50 knots.

What You Do & What You See • The ride lasts about 35 minutes.  • You’ll depart from a dock at Pier Z, 31 Westhaven Drive, St Marys Bay, Auckland Central.  • During the ride, expect things like spins, power brakes, sweeping turns, “fishtails” (the boat sliding sideways), and high speed.  • You’ll go under the Auckland Harbour Bridge, get views of the skyline, possibly Rangitoto Island, see landmarks like the Chelsea Sugar Factory, the tree-lined cliffs at Kauri Point.

Costs, Restrictions & Tips • Prices: • Adult (15 and over): ~ NZD 109 for the 35-minute ride.  • Child (under 14): lower rate (~ NZD 58 or similar) depending on promotions.  • Family passes are available.  • Height / Age Restrictions: Must be at least 115 cm tall. There’s no absolute age minimum, but children under a certain age may need to be accompanied by an adult.  • What to Wear / Bring: • Wear something you don’t mind getting wet; you might get splashed.  • Bring sunscreen, possibly a jacket (water spray / wind), maybe a spare change of clothes.  • Booking: Book ahead is strongly recommended — trips fill up. Read moreI hate all of the activities and Auckland after I buy 3 tickets for this trip. I live close to Sky city very close to the location 7 min away (According to Google map). The start time was 10 AM for my trip. I got a call 9:50 the woman who was talking to me was so rude, she was saying ((where are you?)) or How far a way you are?. Her sounds made me hate the whole idea of going to Jet. Anyway, we took Uber and went to the address that I found in Google (( 2 99 Quay St, Auckland, 1010)) when we arrived we could not find the place and that woman kept calling me. I could not talk to her because she keep yelling in the phone. That was very pathetic that I gave my phone to my sister to talk with her. Even if we missed the trip it is ok but no body should treat us as animal that’s how I felt. My mom ask me to take with that woman on the phone please we could not find the exact place. I sweared that I’m not going to talk on the phone. After my young sister tried to understand the directions from that women she also felt like me. She sweared that She not going to talk on the phone either. Mom want us to just schedule another time or see if there is another options. But, we could not do anything after we talked with that woman for few seconds. We said we do not want to go to this trip and we do not want to get a refund. We do not want anything to do with this woman. That was the worst trip ever in my life. Me & my family waited for over an hour at Pier Z to find out it was cancelled. Because we were booked for 3pm Auckland Adventure Jet was closed so we couldn’t get ahold of them over the phone.
We thought we will try contacting them through Messenger (cos we saw they were online) which worked, to find out our session was cancelled due to engine failure (I think it was) which happened at 10.45am. Rachel the “Manager Admin” said she contacted everyone at 11.30am VIA phone call about been cancel YET me & two other families didn’t receive that call. No email, no text message, only a CONFIRMATION text for our booking at 3pm.
Lastly, POOR CUSTOMERS SERVICE!!!!! during the phone call with Rachel it felt it was my fault that I didn’t get the voice message when for a business like this there should’ve been better communication with the customers. The trying to shift the blame when clearly there were other customers at the Pier waiting also. & the fact Rachel wanted to know the customers names & I had to use my own phone to pass it over to the other paying customers so she can ask if they wanted to RESCHEDULE or REFUND. Hopeless!
I definitely will be taking a refund after reading the new reviews about the constant rescheduling week after week.
