I had the chance to eat here, and honestly, it was one of the best burger experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and the staff (the server named Vale and chef Gabriel) were incredibly friendly and attentive — not in a rushed or forced way, but genuinely kind and welcoming.

Now, let’s talk about the burger itself. It was nothing short of amazing. The meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor — cooked perfectly, with that rich, smoky taste that hits just right. Each bite felt like it melted in my mouth, and the toppings were fresh and balanced without overpowering the star of the show: the beef. The bun was soft yet held everything together beautifully. Honestly, I savored every bite, and it was worth every cent.

The potato chips were crispy, golden, and seasoned just right — not too salty, but packed with flavor. Each chip had that satisfying crunch that makes you keep reaching for more. And the onion rings? Perfection. The batter was light, crispy, and not greasy at all, with sweet, tender onion inside that practically melted in my mouth. They struck the perfect balance between crunchy and soft, making them an irresistible companion to the burger.

What really stood out to me was how quickly the food arrived without sacrificing quality. I never felt forgotten or rushed. The whole experience felt effortless and enjoyable, which made the meal taste even better.

If you’re a burger fan (or even if you’re not), Burger Gourmet is absolutely worth a visit. My family and I left happy, full, and already thinking about when I...

I'm beyond disappointed in the restaurant & It's staff !

My experience is bloody shocking and if you look at how they have responded to some of their negative reviews this should speak volumes about this establishment.

We showed up a 1:00am we were told it was going to be a 25 minute wait. 2:20 rolls around and we still didn't have our meals. I'm visibly pregnant and was out for my husbands 40th birthday so i was WELLL aware of what was going on.

People kept coming in and we were telling these people how long we had already waited told these and told two drunk guys to go else where if they were hungry they turned around went to the drink fridge took two drinks and left.

I went up to the till at 2:20 to find out where my food was, the owner was giving me dirty looks and was extremely rude giving me side eyes and making me EXTREMLEY uncomfortable. I reminded them that i ordered at 1 am and its now 2:20. There were multiple orders before mine come and go 45 minutes before i received my order.

So they handed me my order at 2:30 and they began to accused us of stealing these drinks and I told them it was not my responsibility and not a really smart thing to do at 3 am with drunk adult boys. Not my monkeys not my circus.

My patty was undercooked and cold, and onion rings were still frozen. (Great for a pregnant lady)

The workers (as i have been corrected) are rude and disrespectful and dangerous with their food. I'm reporting them to health services.

Avoid at all costs

October 8th/9th 2022 @ 1:00 am our order was placed Hawaiian Cheesy...

Ordered a simple vodka lime & soda and snapper burger with fries. Soda was flat so it was literally vodka, water and a few melted ice cubes and the thinnest bit of lime I couldn’t taste. When asked for fizzy soda the lady at the bar tried to tell me the soda is fizzy but sometimes losses it’s fizz quite quickly 😂 Then the food came out, don’t order the snapper burger thinking it will be fresh, it was two pieces of fish that you get in the frozen section at the supermarket out of the box that had been put on a grill. Chips were half stone cold and half hot, when I took them back she tried to tell me sometimes the chips cool down 😂 I said no half are stone cold and half are hot so you’ve given me some that have obviously been sitting there a while, she offered me new ones and I said no thank you as I was full but she kept insisting and I kept saying no thank you as we were about to pay and leave but still brought them to me anyway. Pretty bad dining experience just putting up feedback so no one else goes in with high hopes. If she didn’t continue to give me really ridiculous excuses I would have been okay but the fact she was trying to tell us these hilarious excuses just annoyed us, especially as we have worked in hospo for a long time. She said they were busy after the clubs closed so it’s a bar that caters to hungry drunk party animals after the bars closed so don’t expect...

Opposite new Msocial hotel & next to NZ natural ice cream. A 2shoplot Burger which has seatings inside & outside. 4 person picnic table waits customer who prefers fresh air & watch the world pass by. Pick a menu & go over to counter to place your orders. Friendly & attentive staff service each order. Pick your own non-alchololic drink from the fridge. Food served in under 15 minutes. Burger & ingredients were served on a 6" fresh bun. Chicken with avocado and veges is a crowd favourite. Another good choice was chicken and bacon. Fejoia, pear and elderflower drink was a nice balance of flovour. Traditional lemon soda has a strong sharp lemon after taste. Local andand B going for NZ$5. Nice food.

I stopped by Gourmet Burger and Brew Kitchen for a quick coffee break and had their latte, priced at $5.50. The coffee was decent, smooth, and well-made, though nothing extraordinary. The ambiance was cozy and casual, making it a good spot for a brief stop. While the latte was a bit on the pricier side for its quality, the overall experience was pleasant enough if you're in the area and looking for a comfortable place to relax for a while. Would come back to try their food, but for just coffee, there might be better options nearby.

One star is too generous - the service, staff, and food were atrocious. Firstly, they advertise $6 beers but charge $9 and have no beer menu to confirm prices. The staff just did not care when questioned. I ordered a 'hotdog' kids meal and they clearly do not know what a hot dog, therefore adding further poor communication and false advertising to the mix (it was cocktail frankfurts in batter). The food was definitely not fresh made or 'gourmet', clearly deep dried frozen foods, burnt patties and buns. I do not recommend!!!
