Ate here again and noticed their Large ribs ($59) somehow got smaller compared to previous size and their buttermilk fried chicken was smaller than expected. We also got some Fish and Chips which was good - overall enjoyed the food. Location is good and weather was beautiful. Felt sorry for the poor 2 staff members working and serving possibly 40+ people as they had multiple last minute team members calling in sick. Had to wait a bit to pay(which was not a problem for us), would be good if they had back up/extra help. Don't mind coming back, love the location and food is good.

Coops Corner Pubs in Auckland city centre is a delightful haven for food enthusiasts. The diverse selection of pizzas and finger foods caters to every palate, showcasing a fusion of flavors that leave a lasting impression. The inviting ambiance, coupled with a well-stocked bar offering a range of soft and alcoholic drinks, adds to the overall experience. The dessert options are a sweet finale to a satisfying meal. Friendly staff and a central location make Coops Corner Pubs a must-visit for those seeking a tasteful blend of culinary delights and a relaxed atmosphere.

Yes, can't complain about the position but wine we chose being the cheapest one is sold by the bottle $48.00 per bottle $17 for large glass $10.50 for regular glass, considering you can purchase this same bottle at new world for $9.99 it a 400% mark up which is extortionate. I wasn't very hungry so ordered a cheese burger $15.50 ( price is ok)with chips, the bun came out cold I sent it back. Ok I don't work in a flash office in Auckland and don't earn mega bucks but maybe the lease on this establishment costs moonbeams hence the 400% mark up on the wine.

Went here for my birthday. Frozen margaritas are delicious, only 2 flavours were available. Friendly staff. We arrived 30 minutes early and were able to be seated early. $5 extra for frozen margs "treats" aka some very hard gummy worms and aeroplanes. A few of us got multiple frozen margs all of which came in a different sized glass which was quite annoying given that they cost $10 each - so you'd could get one big glass and someone else could get one small one...

They had run out of a lot of food even at 7.30pm. On a Saturday night, they had no dough so no pizzas, no salad & no coffee available - which is a bit mental especially at 7.30pm, you'd think they would have planned ahead or sorted out their deliveries for the busy weekend.

Two of us ordered the roast brisket - when it came it looked quite sad, like a handful of chips with a measly amount of cheese sauce. Someone else on our table had to wait about 15-20 mins for theirs after we had gotten ours, their's of which was heaved with fresh chips and cheese. The brisket itself was quite tasty although quite fatty.

Karaoke was available which was fun however VERY loud, the music itself was so loud you couldn't really hear the person on the mic. A lot of the time we had to shout at each other to hear.

Would I go here again? Probably only for the frozen margaritas. Food badly portioned, fatty, music too loud when eating, lots of stuff on the menu was...

Would give it less that 1 star if I could… was enticed in by a free pool sign only to go in and find a 2 for $25 sign for vodka & red bulls. Naturally I ordered 4 for $50 as I was accompanied by 3 others. All of our IDs were checked and it was fine as we are all over 21. We ask if the pool table was open to which the bartender replied she would “have to check”. We ordered our drinks none the less trying to have a nice time, the bartender tried to charge us full price and when asked politely about the sign she rolled her eyes and proceeded to change the price. Once upstairs we discovered the pool table had no pool cues and the manager came up within 5 minutes to “check our IDs again”. We were in full view to watch them converse about us and keep looking to our direction even though we were paying customers and were quietly sat enjoying our drinks. The atmosphere overall seemed like a rip off environment and very hostile. 0/10 will not be going back. DO NOT RECOMMEND coming here if you’re not Auckland based as they clearly try to take advantage of travellers. (We are all NZ born Europeans). We quickly finished our drinks and left as we didn’t feel very...

NEVER COME BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT !!!!!!! The worst dinning experience ever. Staff took my wine away (haven’t finish yet) without asking while I went to get a glass of water from the bar. Tell issue to the waitress who took my wine away, she said she will check but never come back until we asked her again. She told us that she check that she can clear the wine away. First I am not at the table. Secondly, I am still drinking it why would I let you clear it away. Then she just told my friend that she understand Mandarin. Does it make any different if we speak different languages, I still pay for the wine. Then I believe is the manager came, she is very claim and solve out the problem, replace the wine for me. Then we all believe that the issue is done. After a while, another manager (male) came and tell us we make his staff upset and his attitude is like tell us off right at our face. We came here to enjoy our night but is your staff took my wine away, not even apologize and now telling us we make your staff upset. What a ridiculous services. Never...
