Do not recommend. Service was extremely slow! We were a large group of 10. 20min wait time between each drink order, we ended up just ordering a drink each time we received one due to the wait. We ordered food and what do you know triple the wait time. The table started to panic when we saw she was going to attempt the memory game of all our orders, but she whipped out the notepad after two people started ordering. Two other tables came after us to the restaurant a table of two and a table of six both tables of which were served their food long before ours. Forget about the food we were still waiting for the drinks. The waitress seemed a bit out of place going up and down the stairs a few times for no good reason, wondering around the outside bar trying to look busy with no drinks in hand, even the standard coke order was taking too long. Just frustrating. We then asked what's the hold up on the drinks, and were advised there's a function on. What? A function of five people? From what I could see we were the largest group there who also booked. Felt like a sorry excuse. A second waitress then took over but too little too late. The food arrived many years later, on a positive note it was delicious. However, a forgotten dish left a sour remark. Looks like the notepad didnt help in the end. We spent a good dollar, more than anyone else would have spent that night but I didn't realise we were paying for the waiting game like you're at the A&E. Anyways good music, but bad vibes.

Attended Bottomless Brunch on Saturday, 28th Nov 2020 at 11:30am. We were given the booth to sit in. We requested a table as some of our big bodied guests were getting a sore mid section (stomach) as the table was cutting into their stomach. The first waitress apologised saying unfortunately there are no tables available as the tables have all been reserved so we could not move. The brunch continued and we had another waitress come around taking our orders and topping up our drinks we again asked if we could move as it was getting extremely uncomfortable even painful as she could clearly see. She understood and confirmed she would sort something out as there have been bookings cancelled and a table is possibly available. The first waitress returns and tells us once again sorry there are no tables available. We thought it was strange seeing there was a table or two with no one sitting there until we left the restaurant. Our main waitress was rude and dismissive. The second waitress was lovely and accommodating. Why we couldn’t simply be moved to another table to make my friends comfortable was poor service. The cocktails Mimosa, Bloody Mary and Prosecco were average. The food was nice. Overall experience 1 Star just because of the bad service we received and not accommodating your customers who clearly needed assistance.

$80 for a ‘platter’ with a inedible crumpet. For starters the brunt crumpet… informed the staff about this issue and was told “it’s meant to be like that because it’s a house made crumpet and only toasted on one side”. Not sure if their definition of toasted means to make it inedible. A photo from google of what a crumpet should look like for reference. Next the platter… cauliflower was not listed on the platter but it wasn’t a good surprise. Just toasted like boiled cauliflower with poorly made batter. Squid was chewy and unflavoured. Buttermilk chicken was average, but I feel like it should be noted on the menu that it’s covered in sauce like Korean fried chicken. As was expecting fried chicken with a sauce on the side to dip in, like how all restaurants I’ve dined in serve it. Lastly a somewhat positive thing out of this very below average experience, the lamb. The lamb was nice and had good flavours to it and was cooked nicely. Overall don’t recommend at all especially after being told that the crumpet was “supposed to be like that”, and wasn’t exactly a welcoming environment from the start. It most definitely did not live up to Auckland viaduct standards and was a big disappointment.

Horrible experience from the get go. Firstly the waiter took ages to take our order, we kept looking around trying to catch smones eye so they could. The waiter took our order, checked twice, yet I and many others received the wrong order. When I told the waitress she asked if I was fine eating what I was given. I didn’t want to waste food and since my previous order they also got wrong and I was hungry I said it’s fine I’ll eat it. I waited 40 mins for my mocktail. Every time the waiter would come around to pour the alcoholic drinks, I would remind them but nothing for 40 mins. Our plates were not cleared once we had finished. And even though the waiter checked our order twice they forgot to serve us 6 items! These forgotten items were shared food but we weren’t given as extra cutlery or plates! I had asked for spicy sauce or chill flakes with my meal but was told they had none, then when my friend asked for hot sauce with the fried chicken (because we weren’t given any!!?) suddenly they had some?? When I asked for two maple syrups because two ppl hadn’t been given it with their meal, our waitress only gave us one? Smone accidentally split a drink and we had to clean it up ourselves. The napkins were not picked up by the staff instead left on the table. It was my friends bday so when we asked if we could cut the cake now the waitress said to us to clear the table for them and make space for the cake?!? At the end we paid and I spoke to the manager and clang explained what had happened and tried to offer feedback- I wasn’t looking for a discount or anything as we had already paid. After I tell him everything that happened he says ok, and walks off. This is ridiculous. I work in the hospitality industry too and this was actually shocking. I’ve never received such poor service, or had wait staff roll their eyes or be so rude. Will never recommend this to anyone. Atleast take the feedback nicely instead of storming off. Disgusting behaviour by the staff...
