My apologies for the photo quality—I don’t usually write reviews for takeaway.

This place came highly recommended by a friend who lives in Howick.

When I arrived, the pizzaiolo greeted me by sliding a pizza in the oven while tilting his head, signaling that someone would be over to help me shortly.

Following Chelsea's recommendation, I ordered the Spianata, Nutella Calzone, and Tiramisu. I have to admit, the prices are on the higher side. However, if you’re looking to splurge a little, I’d suggest Posto as a go-to pizzeria over the chain stores around here.

Leaving with two pizza boxes and a Tiramisu, the pizzaiolo reminded me to take good care of his precious dessert, cautioning me not to stack it on top of the hot pizza boxes. It was remarkable that, even while busy, he took the time to ensure his food was transported with care.

The Spianata had those classic leopard spots, a true mark of a wood-fired pizza. The crust was light, and the ingredients blended perfectly. As for the Nutella Calzone, it’s filled with a ridiculously generous amount of hazelnut chocolate. It's insanely sweet—one slice would satisfy any sweet tooth! The Tiramisu had just the right touch of Amaretto for a light kick without being too boozy. The mascarpone was smooth and buttery, with no tanginess, and the cocoa dusting wasn't bitter.

Overall, Posto is a hidden gem and a must-try for anyone who craves good pizza and appreciates quality. Remember to...

Run don’t walk! This local pizzaria is chefs kiss amazing! I’ve never had such delicious dough - it’s like crispy and light yet soft and chewy all at the same time and it’s unbelievable - it’s hard to nail the perfect pizza base but these guys get it done. 🤌🏼 The toppings are top tier quality. I was told they have special imported Italian cheese and other authentic ingredients - and it really makes the pizzas shine - the cheese, the olive oil the truffle mmm I wish I had room to try more varieties but I guess I’ll just have to go back! Kids pizzas was super reasonable and a decent size! The cos salad was so simple but so well done and incredibly tasty - a fresh accompaniment to add balance with your pizza! I was too full to try the famous Nutella calzone but I did get my hands on a takeaway tiramisu - she was delish!!! The restaurant itself is really nice and simple with the pizza oven a focal point. There was beautiful fresh flowers which I loved walking in. Staff were SO warm and inviting and friendly and so great with the kids. The place was also super clean and spotless and loved that you could see the open kitchen where everything was very clean and tidy. We loved our experience! Thankyou x By the way we travelled from Murray’s bay to try this place out after hearing great things .. and we will be back! (Sorry my photos are average! I was too busy...

We came here opening night and WOW. first nights are usually where places are still ironing out some creases but these guys were a well-oiled machine. The team are so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is fun, and the food is to die for. I seriously want to try alll the pizzas. We got the lamb pizza, truffle pizza, chicken pizza and they nailed it with every one. The crust is beyond perfect I could eat it on its own but all the toppings - so simple, so good. Oh and we also got the cos salad - surprisingly good for such a simple dish - very fresh and tasty. For dessert we couldn’t decide so got both the Nutella calzone and the tiramisu to share. Again - stunning. Chefs kiss. We loved it and will be back again. Thanks for an amazing night team !! Definitely check this place out whether you’re a local or from across town - it’s...
