I feel horrible writing this because they are such nice people. I’ve had a sandwich with a bug in it, a cheesecake with a hair in the crust and a cream donut with a massive woodlouse spider in the cream (which still makes me feel sick thinking about it). Thankfully I’ve managed to spot the intruders before I ate them... makes me think what else I could’ve eaten without knowing. Really lovely staff but really bad experience with the food. I purchased a mince and cheese pie, chicken and chips.

Chips were yummy. Pie was bad, I had one bite and sadly had to spit it out. The pastry was hard like cardboard and the filling reminded me of gel gravy Australians use, there was a strange after taste too. The fried chicken looked great but sadly was the same as the pie. It was really dry/crunchy like it had been sitting in the warmer for a long time.

The most friendly service you will receive on the cost. The sandwiches are filled with filling and various fresh ingredients. There hot chips are the best, so crunchy but soft in the middle. Their slices and buns are delicious. Pies are good but in my opinion not perfect. They also do the most big and yummy hot cross buns at Easter. Prices are fair and I feel you get your money’s worth!
