The puff pastry was so light and flaky that it melted in your mouth plus there was a generous portion of pine nuts. There were plenty of vegetarian options. Plus a high light was the out door area was set up to cater for patrons with dogs. There were 3 other groups with dogs when we were there and it was very chilled and relaxed. Also coffee was prepared just right, strong with well roasted beans.

This morning's kai and kāwhe was consumed ar #180degreescafe Paraparaumu Beach. Unfortunately, it's not the best Eggs Benedict or kāwhe I've had in the last 6 months of touring the South Island. Kāwhe was more like dishwater and they also forgot my Mango Smoothie. Definitely won't be back

Good coffee, good lunch food from the menu, portions are generous, tasty & filling. We had the Cajun chicken sandwich in yummy bread & great hot chips and a BLT also on the same bread with chips. The place was busy but tables moved frequently & the staff we’re constantly clear plates away.

I had an awful experience here recently. As I have mobility issues I had parked close by the door I entered. When I went to leave, the door was locked, but the woman refused to unlock it for me, even after explaining politely three times that I had mobility issues and couldn't walk far. She got really nasty and left me standing there. So with other customers looking on, I had to walk the length of the cafe, past the kitchen where there were angry Chinese words being heard, along the street, around the corner and along that street to my car, which was right beside the door I had entered. I suffered the physical consequences for days afterwards. Just because you can't see a disability doesn't mean there isn't one. I could not believe she would treat someone like that, let alone a disabled person, let alone a customer! I will never go back and neither will my friends and associates, nor to the other businesses this woman...

We went here as my parents are regular customers. Amazing view however they have very limited vegetarian options and refused to do the big breakfast without meat so I ended up ordering and taking the meat off - not very accommodating as its really not that hard. It made for a tiny meal for a big price. Once it came out they had mucked up the order AND the eggs were soggy making it a wet mess and the fish batter was also soggy. Wouldn't reccomend. It really isn't that hard to accomidate a vegetarian when all they ask is for the same meal just without the meat.. add an extra peice of toast or potatoe cake if you wish to charge the same price as its surley cheaper then the meat. Would not come back for food in future however would be a great place to just have a drink. Vegetarianism isn't a rare thing these days may be time to...

The tiramisu was delicious, chai latte had a disgusting taste to it like off milk or dirty cup (the cup had a broken handle and had been glued together which was really strange), I took one sip and left the rest. My cranberry chicken panini was dry and all bread with hardly any filling. My young daughter was busting to go to the toilet but it was locked so we had to wait for someone to unlock it with a pin pad. I had been here many years ago before moving to Kapiti and enjoyed it but I won't be back again in a hurry. What a fab location with beautiful afternoon sun shining in. I left feeling really disappointed. The kids enjoyed their ice creams and husband...
