Cafe Novella — Restaurant in Wellington

What a great little cafe. It was our first visit today 12-3-25. The place was busy but we didnt wait long for our coffee and meals. I had fish pie with salad and my wife had salmon rulard and salad. Both meals were very nice and their home made salad dressing was a real surprise flavour that enhanced the meal and the salad was not over dressed - it was perfect. The coffee was also very nice and just the perfect temperature to enjoy it. All in all great value for money and great flavours along with great service done with a smile. Sep2021: 8am catchup. Coffee was good. L2 here with mandatory mask wearing into premises(read it as you want for cafes) required from all patrons.. Unless exempt.. While enjoying my coffee time here, I was annoyed to see 4 times 4 customers walk in without a mask, 2 holding masks in hand, order coffee, and talk to staff while waiting. How unfair for the staff.. Conflicts arise here, they want to keep the clients who did not show excemption cards as customers.. But, what about the rest of us, and there were afew..watching this.(Probably 6 elderly patrons wore masks)
