Kanteen — Restaurant in Wellington

It's 11.30 and we have an hour to spare before boarding the ferry. To top it off, we are feeling a little peckish. I had heard good things about The Kanteen, so off we go. You are greeted by a warm yet industrial atmosphere, with a professional air. The vibe is very much like a shared workspace, the occasional table hosting a laptop and an impromptu meeting or two. We made our way to the service desk and we're greeted with a lovely welcome and friendly smile. The food in the cabinet looked amazing, so I ordered the Mushroom Melt, and my friend the Swiss Cheese BLT. And of course, a couple of Flat Whites!! The food was served promptly and was amazing. The melt did exactly that, with dripping cheese, caremalised onions and loads of mushrooms, this toasted sandwich ticked all of my boxes. Made with care and with fresh ingredients, it was the gift which kept on giving. And for the price tag it was a great deal. Most worst experience I ever had ,As working in a Hospitality industry for more than 12 years ,I am totally aware of what is the importance of customer Service in this Industry,and I really would like to give review to this place as 0 Star ,mainly because of the owner who provides horrible customer service,He was behaving so arrogant which was not tolerable for anyone as you are paying for what you get ,Food was ok ,must say staff on the floor looks alright but this working owner lacks the customer service in every way ,He must be missing Word POLITE and Manners in his dictionary,Will never go back to this place and advised our friends the same . I would leave zero stars if I could. I had the worst experience in this cafe. The owner is very rude and dont know how to treat the customer. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY.  My friend ordered her lunch and smoothie but he did not let us sit because i did not order anything and was eating my own salad becuase i was on dietary requirements.
